No More Waiting, She Chooses Love novel Chapter 809

The old station wagon was a treasure trove of cherished memories for the Wagner family, yet it also marked the beginning of Dustin's simmering resentment towards his parents and Conrad. I was certain that Dustin would have tied Conrad up here.

As I made my way toward the car, I noticed that the dust on the side of the door had been disturbed.

I was right.

“Conrad,” I called out to him while trying to open the door.

But it was locked, and no amount of tugging would budge it.

I wiped away the dust from the window and peered inside, spotting Conrad tied up and unconscious in the backseat.

“Conrad, Conrad…” I called his name again.

There was no response; he was clearly knocked out.

Dustin had really gone off the deep end to do something like this to Conrad.

Going back for the keys was not an option. I scanned the garage and spotted a fire extinguisher in the corner. I grabbed it and swung it hard against the car window.

I underestimated the strength of the glass; even after two attempts, it didn’t shatter. I was cautious about using too much force, mindful of the little one I was carrying.

“Miss Felicia,” a familiar voice called out.

I turned to see our family nanny rushing over. “Let me help.”

She took the fire extinguisher from me and slammed it against the window with determined force. After two hits, the glass cracked in a spiderweb pattern.

With a couple more blows, she managed to create a hole in the glass, reaching in to unlock the door from the inside.
