No More Waiting, She Chooses Love novel Chapter 851

"Uncle Sam, you didn't go stirring the pot with my parents, did you?" Fanny asked, eyeing Sinclair suspiciously.

Sinclair just shrugged, not giving her a straight answer. Fanny took that as confirmation. "How could you do this, Sinclair? I trusted you."

She was upset that he hadn't backed her up, but she knew arguing wouldn't change anything. If she didn't find a way to change her parents' minds, they'd probably show up at the hospital themselves to drag her home.

"Alright, tell me what it'll take for me to not move back home," she sighed, knowing she had little leverage here.

"Move in with me," Sinclair proposed, watching her expression shift with each word.

Fanny was momentarily speechless, too shocked to respond. Sinclair added, "Just for a little while, until your parents calm down. Then you can go back to your place."

Fanny didn't want to live with him, even if the awkwardness of the past had almost faded. Yet, it seemed like the only option on the table.

"I'll think about it," she said, not ready to give in just yet.

"Your parents want me to bring your things back by tomorrow," Sinclair informed her.

Fanny was silent, realizing he was forcing her to make a decision today.

"Fine, I'll let you know by this afternoon," she finally replied, though she already knew she was out of options.

Sinclair nodded and left.

Watching him walk away, Fanny couldn't shake the thought of sharing a roof with him, feeling uneasy and awkward about the whole situation.
