Chapter 529 The Interview
Before Lenora could make sense of it all, she received a message from the editor-in-chief.
The photography assignment for this business trip had been completed, with only the finalizing of the photos remaining, which could be done online. In other words, Lenora could return home now.
The message from the editor-in-chief stated that there was an urgent need for a photographer for an interview with a business magazine. He pleaded with her to help fill in.
“Please, Fay! You're the only one available. Don't worry, there will be a dedicated reporter for the interview, and Wyatt will be there too. All you need to do is take a few pictures.”
With that, Lenora agreed.
The editor expressed his gratitude profusely, then proceeded to send over the interviewee's information along with the shooting location.
The location of the shoot this time wasn't a photography studio. Instead, it was held in the interviewee's office, on the fifteenth floor of Bill Tower.
The interviewee was named Bjorn Wilson, the chairman of a publicly listed company.
Upon seeing the name, Lenora's felt a strange feeling stirring within.
After looking it up online, she gasped at how small the world was.
The subject of her photoshoot was none other than Bjorn Wilson, Harrietta's maternal grandfather.
What a coincidence.
The smile on Lenora's face froze. Can I still change my mind now?
After breakfast, Lenora met up with Wyatt and the others at the base of the magazine publisher's building. Together, they headed toward Bill Tower.
Upon seeing Lenora waiting, the editor-in-chief of the business magazine, Wyatt, was at a loss for words.
It's that rude Clusian photographer again. Last time, we were lucky Mr. Charlton was also Clusian, so he didn't mind her attitude. If she were to offend Mr. Wilson today, as she had done previously, I would certainly not agree to work with her again.
Upon reaching Bill Tower, they were courteously greeted by the receptionist and Bjorn's female secretary.
The secretary led them to the reception room, apologizing, “I'm sorry, but Mr. Wilson hasn't arrived at the office yet. Please, everyone, be wait for a while.”
“No problem,” responded Wyatt.
The female secretary served them coffee and hastily exited the reception room.
She immediately headed to the office area and found another secretary. She asked, “Avril, did you remind Mr. Wilson about today's schedule?”
Bjorn had returned from his business trip in Zosteylor a few days ago. He had only visited the office once, briefly leaving instructions before hastily departing.
When he returned, he was accompanied by an adorable little girl.
According to Alan, the little girl was Bjorn's granddaughter, and the latter was very fond of her.
Over the past few days, insignificant appointments were either cancelled or postponed.
The magazine shoot had been scheduled a long time ago. It had already been postponed once due to a scheduling conflict. Hence, it simply couldn't be delayed any further.
The secretary named Avril responded, “I reminded him yesterday. Has Mr. Wilson not arrived yet?”
“No.”
“I'll call and check.”
Avril managed to get through to Mr. Wilson on the phone. The line was quite noisy, the background sounding rather lively. “Mr. Wilson,” she said, “the magazine publisher's team has arrived at the office. Do you have an estimate of when you'll be able to make it?”
The other end fell silent for a moment. “Apologies, I forgot. Let's push it back a day, shall we?”
At that moment, Bjorn was enjoying a day at the amusement park with his beloved granddaughter.
Avril was left dumbfounded.
“We can't delay it any longer. Otherwise, they won't be able to finish the article in time.”
Bjorn was rendered speechless.
He had already promised his old friend, the editor-in-chief of the magazine, that he would conduct this interview, so he couldn't go back on his word now.
Otherwise, he really wanted to postpone it to the next issue.
“Alright, I'm heading to the office now.”
Bjorn sighed, hung up the phone, and looked upward.
Alan was currently accompanying Harrietta on a drop tower ride.
As the machine plummeted abruptly, cries of terror echoed from the passengers above.
A few minutes later, the ride descended smoothly to the ground. As Harrietta stepped out, her legs were still a bit shaky.
It was somewhat frightening, yet incredibly thrilling.
