A Life Beyond Limits (Jack Holland) novel Chapter 911

Cornelius' gaze sharpened. He couldn't tolerate anyone challenging his authority, especially not in front of his female fans.

Raising an eyebrow, he smirked coldly. "What's the matter? Do you have a problem with it? Why don't we go against each other? I'll teach you to pick on someone your own size!"

Leo was quick with words, but his skills in playing "World Empire" were no match for a professional player like Cornelius. He only wanted to leave a quick insult but was surprised when Cornelius challenged him to a showdown.

Leo's gaze quickly shifted to his friends, especially Jack.

Charlotte stood up and said, "Let's do it! We're not afraid of you!"

Although they knew they would lose, Charlotte and Zane accepted the challenge. They didn't want others to think they were weak.

Besides, they were quite skillful. Perhaps if they fought against each other, they might not do too badly against Cornelius and his team.

And Jack was with them too. He couldn't be that bad, no matter what the situation was.

Zane and Neil couldn't help but let out a helpless smile at Charlotte's response.

Then, Charlotte looked at Jack. "Jack, do you think you can do it?"

Charlotte confidently agreed to the challenge because Jack was her last trump card.

Even though she had never seen Jack play "World Empire", she was confident that Jack would invincibly defeat their opponent.

Jack could only nod at Charlotte's question.

Wilhelmina's and her teammate's expressions turned grim. They never expected Jack to humiliate them.

Her teammate shouted, "I dare you to say that again!"

If Jack really repeated what he had said, he might have slapped Jack in the face. Based on his character, it seemed like he was capable of it.

Jack also believed that this man would keep to his word.

After all, anyone who could stand shoulder to shoulder with Wilhelmina, the daughter of the legendary gambling king, was no ordinary guy. Their families were powerful and renowned, and their fathers were of great influence. In their world, they were the ones who dictated tone and attitude.

Who would ever dare show them disrespect? Yet, in this unassuming cyber café, someone actually had the audacity to speak up against them.
