A Life Beyond Limits (Jack Holland) novel Chapter 923

The bodyguard was momentarily stunned when Neil, despite being knocked down, managed to get back on his feet.

Annoyed, the guard stepped up his aggression, aiming to take Neil down again with more force.

Seeing the situation, Zane tried to rush over to help, but was intercepted by another bodyguard who shoved him aside with a slap. Zane stumbled, nose bleeding slightly, his head spinning.

Several guards closed in fast, ready to pin Neil and Zane down. That was when Jack made his move.

With lightning speed, he lunged forward and delivered a powerful kick to the bodyguard who had struck Zane. The man flew back nearly 15 to 20 feet, hit the ground hard, and didn't get up again.

Nelson was furious. He jabbed a finger at Jack and shouted, "That's him! Ten of you surround him! I want him finished! And hit the others as hard as you can!"

Jack was the source of all the humiliation they had suffered. Whether it was the games or pool, Jack had dominated them.

Now, Nelson wanted him to pay. He wanted to break Jack's hands and see if he still dared to act so arrogantly after that.

As the guards rushed toward Jack, Wilhelmina hesitated. She knew Jack wasn't an ordinary person—he was the son of Quintis from Sandalwood Group. If he were seriously injured, there would be real consequences.

She tried to call out and stop them, but her voice was lost in the chaos. All she could do was to watch anxiously as the guards charged toward Jack.

Nelson's expression went pale. This was the first time he truly felt fear. He already thought Jack's gaming skills were incredible, but his fighting skills were similarly terrifying.

Wilhelmina stared at Jack in disbelief. She had always assumed he was weak and unimpressive. But the truth today proved her wrong.

Jack had created Genesis Games, dominated both in gaming and snooker with effortless brilliance, and was a great fighter. His achievements were beyond her imagination.

Wilhelmina even remembered looking up what it meant to be a state top scorer, only to realize how ridiculous her earlier insults had been.

One moment after another had chipped away at her assumptions. Now, she wasn't so sure about her judgement of Jack anymore. Was he really the failure she had once believed?
