A Life Beyond Limits (Jack Holland) novel Chapter 932

"Can you tell me more about your relationship with Feena? I was in Brightland when I heard that you two started dating. I'm really curious."

Phoebe recalled them playing truth or dare at a summer gathering by the river when they had just graduated from high school. Jack had confessed his feelings for Feena back then, but he was rejected.

Phoebe thought that Jack and Feena would never date each other, but fate had other ideas. As time passed, the two eventually got together somehow.

It sounded like a classic love story, and Phoebe knew she should be happy for Jack and Feena. But in reality, Phoebe was aware of her emotions all too well.

Jack didn't expect Phoebe to be interested in these things. Still, he proceeded to talk about the little moments in his relationship with Feena.

Their relationship grew quite naturally, and everything seemed perfectly reasonable. Jack even mentioned a wonderful night during a trip in Orthawt when he had kissed Feena.

Back then, they were both completely awake, but Feena didn't point it out. Perhaps it was from that moment onward that Feena fell for Jack.

Phoebe put on a faint smile when she heard that, but she didn't say anything. In reality, she knew back then that Feena was awake, but she had simply decided not to expose the latter.

Before they knew it, the two had arrived at the ground floor of the female dorm. When the warden learned that Jack was carrying luggage for Phoebe, she allowed Jack to enter.

When the two walked into the female dorm, they realized that the other roommates were away. The fourth-year students were currently doing their internships.

Phoebe asked Jack to put down her luggage. Then, she took out a towel from her bag and lightly brushed it over Jack. "You're a little wet. Let me dry you off."

Phoebe's movements were so natural that Jack felt something warm well up in his heart.

Her beautiful hair drooped a little, and she had an earnest look on her pretty face. She was also exuding a faint fragrance. Jack was hopelessly entranced.

"Jack, can you wait a bit? I'm going to take a shower. You've helped me with my luggage today, so I'd like to treat you to a meal later," Phoebe said.

"It's okay. I trust you. You're not that sort of person, are you?" Phoebe put on a small smile as she entered the bathroom.

Running water sounded from the bathroom. Jack sat by Phoebe's bed as he lit a cigarette. He was wracked with an immense struggle in his heart.

Should he sneak to the bathroom to take a look?

Jack would never dare to intrude while Phoebe was showering. After all, Phoebe was different from Feena. Feena was his girlfriend, but Phoebe wasn't.

Still, Jack felt that it should be fine if he took a peek through the frosted door at the entrance of the bathroom.

Phoebe's perfect figure came to mind again. It only strengthened his urges.
