"He's actually not part of our circle," Bella said. "So he might be a little shy."

Luca's grin widened. "It doesn't matter if he's part of our circle or not. We can still be friends!"

"Alright then. I'll mention this to him. If he's willing, I'll introduce him to you." Bella easily agreed.

"Great!" Feena and Luca exclaimed in unison, clearly ecstatic by the idea.

Jack also smiled and nodded. Although he had a smile fixed on his face, Jack's heart had actually been plunged into turmoil. He noticed how bright Bella's eyes were, and after recalling the conversation he overheard at the waiting area, he was convinced that she had indeed found a new flame. She could have already forgotten the relationship they once shared.

People usually said that the best way to forget a previous relationship was to start a new one. It appeared that Bella had indeed walked out of the shadow of their failed relationship and fallen in love again.

Unfortunately, Jack wasn't as open-minded as Bella. Even though he already had Feena, he had always clung to the idea of Bella in his heart.

Suddenly, he felt a ticklish sensation on his palm. When he lowered his head, he realized that Feena was writing on his palm with her finger.

"Piggy, are you feeling hurt?" she asked.

Jack raised his head to look at Feena and saw the warm concern overflowing from the corner of her eyes. After gazing at her smile, Jack could feel his low spirits improving as a smile of his own stretched across his face.

He already had Feena, so he should learn to be satisfied and shouldn't want for more. Bella was just a fleeting visitor in his life. Feena was the one who he was going to spend the rest of his life with. Jack sneakily took Feena's hand under the table and wrote on her warm palm.

"Not at all. Don't talk nonsense."

"Hmph! Who are you trying to fool? What man would be happy hearing about his ex-girlfriend moving on and finding a new boyfriend? Don't forget that we grew up together. I know you."
