Bella nodded again. "That's right. We always call each other a few times every day."

Bella's words made Jack's mood sour slightly. What was she trying to say by telling him that they called each other multiple times? In fact, why was she telling him all this?

Jack put on a nonchalant facade. "Looks like you have a great relationship with your boyfriend. I wish both of you happiness."

She blinked her large eyes at him before a smile broke across her face. "Isn't your relationship with Feena going well too?"

At the mention of Feena, a hint of gentleness flickered in Jack's eyes. "Yes, our relationship is going great. Alright, I need to buy something. Take your time talking to him."

Bella was a part of Jack's past now. Feena was the one who existed in his future. When he thought about Feena waiting for him in the room, Jack wanted to purchase the wine as quickly as possible and spend the rest of the night indulging in her.

As for Bella, she could do whatever she wanted. After all, some things are lost forever once you lose them the first time.

However, it appeared that Bella wasn't ready to end their conversation just yet. Seeing how Jack was making his move to leave, she hastily asked, "What are you buying?"

"A bottle of red wine," Jack answered honestly, seeing no reason to hide the truth.

"You and Feena sure know how to set the mood."

Bella was no longer the innocent woman she once was. From how eager Jack looked, it was obvious that he was purchasing the red wine so they could spend a romantic night together. After all, being separated for a while was better at getting one in the mood than being newlyweds.

Jack grinned, but he didn't agree to nor deny her statement.
