Helen saw Joseph enter the kitchen with Kimberly following behind him. Seeing how close they were, Helen didn’t say anything. Instead, she headed into the study to find Bernard.
“Did Joseph leave already?” Bernard asked.
“No, he’s making food for Kim. He knows what she likes to eat and how to prepare medicinal meals. Let him handle it. What did he talk to you about?” Helen asked.
Although she had never been particularly fond of Joseph, she had to admit that when it came to taking care of her sick granddaughters, no one was more reliable.
“Joseph is still looking into Natalie’s background. This time, he isn’t looking into Frank. He has turned his attention to Jenton Tourism. According to him, Sharon may know something.
“I’m planning to speak with her this afternoon. If she really knows the truth and has been hiding it from us …” Bernard replied as he snickered, a cold glint flashing across his eyes.

“You never truly know what’s in someone’s mind. Over the years, Cora has accumulated more and more wealth. Everyone in the family has seen what wealth looks like now. Who can say greed hasn’t crept in? Just look at the disaster with Nonagon Chemical,” said Helen.
“Nonagon Chemical…” Bernard mumbled. He remembered Joseph targeting Nonagon Chemical. Now, Joseph had mentioned that Sharon knew Natalie’s background. That couldn’t just be a coincidence.
Helen asked, “Bernard, do you think Cora really found someone better than Joseph?”
“Almost certainly. Joseph believes that Natalie was conceived before the marriage. According to him, Cora married him to hide the pregnancy. If that’s true, she didn’t just deceive him. She deceived us too,” replied Bernard.
Helen responded, “Cora denied it so seriously and claimed that Natalie was Joseph’s biological daughter. She didn’t seem to be lying.”
“How could Natalie be Joseph’s biological daughter? The DNA test report can’t make a mistake. Joseph understands this field better than either of us. The fact that he’s so convinced tells me that the results
