Chapter 311
“Joseph, stop slandering me like this! I don’t have a lover, and I haven’t done any of the things you just said! Natalie, Selena, and Kimberly are all your daughters!”
Cora trembled in anger because Joseph’s words were so hurtful. She stared at him in disbelief. His words cut deep, and she couldn’t believe how sharp-tongued and vicious he was.
“How can you prove that?” Joseph was actually hurting too. While it felt satisfying to vent in that moment, the pain it would bring him afterward was just as great, if not more.
“What do you mean? What am I supposed to prove?” Cora fired back.
“How are you going to prove that all three of them are my daughters? Is it because they have my last name?
“Or is it because we lived in the same house? Or is it their looks? Skin color? Or are you talking about concrete proof, like their blood type or DNA?” Joseph asked.
Didn’t this all just come down to a paternity test in the end?
“Because I gave birth to all of them, and you’re the only man I’ve ever been with! I’m their mother. Would anyone else know better than me who the father is?”
“How can you prove that I’m the only man you’ve ever been with? How can you prove that I’m the only one who could’ve fathered them?
“How are you going to prove all of that? Go on. Tell me.” Joseph shot back.
“You… You’re just twisting logic!” Cora scowled.
“Cora, you should take a good look at our relationship. All this while, I’ve been building my own connections.
“While I still can’t compare to your family, I’m no longer the idiot I used to be, with no connections or resources. You can’t control everything in Jenton anymore.
“Once the time is right, I’ll file for divorce in court. I’ll bring the paternity test results to prove that the children aren’t mine, and the court will grant my divorce petition.”
Joseph looked at Cora coldly. “If you plan to use underhanded methods to resolve our issues, I’ll gladly play along! Let’s destroy each other and go down together!”
“I don’t believe that’s who you are!” Cora studied Joseph’s cold, ruthless expression and felt completely unsettled. There was no affection left between them-just hostility.
Cora knew Joseph had completely lost control, and the relationship had spiraled beyond her control too. She felt like a failure, yet she had no idea when or how things had even escalated to that point.
Cora sighed. “Since you refuse to save Frank, then don’t bother! If he dies, it’s got nothing to do with you!”
“Stop trying to guilt-trip me. That won’t work! He’s just like Warren-he had an affair with you too.
“Since Frank refuses to admit the truth, he deserves what’s coming to him! Cora, let me make it clear to you – the next one I’m going after is Jonas. If I find out he slept with you too, I’ll make sure he pays for it! And you too!”
“You… Are you crazy?” Cora trembled. At that moment, Joseph seemed like a rabid beast.
“Am I crazy? Probably! But people like them have it coming. Whether they end up dead or injured, they deserve it.

“I bet they must’ve been having the time of their lives when you cheated on me. Once I start going down my list, they’re going to suffer, and I’ll enjoy it just as much!”
