A Man with Nerves of Steel (Joseph Hart) novel Chapter 470

Chapter 470

“Enough! I’ll ask you one more time. Why did you draw my daughters’ blood? Stop trying to hide it and tell me the truth,” Cora asked coldly.

Yara replied, “Didn’t I already tell you? Is there any point in making me repeat myself?”

“Joseph was right. You’re every bit as hypocritical as he said. You deserve everything that’s happening to you. Cora looked at Yara with unconcealed contempt.

She continued, “At first, I didn’t believe Joseph’s suspicions. But the harder you try to cover things up, the mote you prove him right. Joseph has already uncovered the truth and seen through your schemes. Why are Natalie and the others Skylar’s daughters? What have you people done?”

Yara looked at Cora in shock. “What did you say?”

Cora pressed again. “Joseph performed a paternity test and found that my daughters are Skylar’s children. Skylar is your older brother, so you should know what happened. Tell me!”

Yara gritted her teeth. “That damned Joseph needs to die.”

Joseph seemed to stir up trouble wherever he went. Now that he had uncovered this secret, his next target would definitely be Skylar. And when that happened, no one could predict the consequences.

After all, she had experienced Joseph’s methods firsthand. If he dared to make a move against her, then he would naturally dare to make a move against Skylar as well.

Cora warned coldly, “If you so much as touch him, I’ll make you pay tenfold. Yara, give me a reasonable explanation for this, or we’ll never work together again. In fact, I’ll kill you myself!”

Yara stammered, “What makes you think your daughters belong to my brother? Do you think it’s true just because Joseph gave you some so-called evidence? What if he’s simply trying to drive a wedge between us? Are you really stupid enough to believe whatever you hear?”
