After ending the call, Joseph returned to the ICU and asked Natalie to leave. “Your mom’s on the way here. If you don’t want to get caught in the department, you have to go now.”

Shocked, Natalie asked Joseph to lend her his car so she could get back to the office, but he refused.

Back in the parking lot, she took out a spare car key, intending to drive the sports car back, only to discover that Joseph had put a wheel lock on it.

Left with no choice, Natalie had to find another way back.
