Meanwhile, Joseph pushed Yara into a spacious villa spanning 10,764 square feet and worth tens of millions. It was her largest property, and it was solely in her name.

She had told him about some of her other houses, but most of them were either owned by the company or jointly owned with the Zahns.

“Henry, once we’re married, I’ll put your name on the deed. We’ll own this villa together!” Yara said. She was delighted to see how happy he was with the villa.

“Once you’re feeling better, we’ll own this place together. It’ll be our little love nest. We’ll build a home here together!”

“But this place is huge. How are we even going to live here?”

“If you think this place is too big and empty, I’ll give you a few kids once I’m better!”

Joseph could tell Yara was in the mood again. Seeing her lean in for a kiss, he was happy to oblige, skilfully bringing her to the height of pleasure.

But that still wasn’t enough for Joseph. He wanted to take everything from Yara and Skylar as well.

After leaving the villa, he persuaded her to take him to see Skylar’s house. But Skylar had several houses, so they couldn’t possibly visit all in one day.

Since Yara was still recovering, Joseph couldn’t just drag her around from place to place. And even though he hadn’t seen Cora’s belongings lying around the house, he still had his doubts about her.

On the way back, Yara noticed that Joseph seemed a little down. Thinking he was feeling insecure, she said, “Don’t overthink things. We’ll be richer in the future, and what’s ours is yours too.’

“I don’t really care about how much money we have. I’m just worried that I’m not good enough to help you

recover.

“If I can’t, I’ll feel like I’ve let you down after everything you’ve done for me,” Joseph explained. He had no shame when it came to sweet-talking her. He had no problem saying whatever it took.

“Henry, stop the car! I want you to kiss me!” Yara was moved by his words again. She gazed at him with affection, ready to try being intimate with him again.

Earlier at the villa, she felt ready, but he didn’t, and she didn’t want to push him. Now that she was sick, she was easily moved by the things he did for her.

But Joseph didn’t give in. After driving one-handed for a while, he said, “I still hope Joseph will put his grudge aside and come back to save you.

“Yara, if Joseph wants an apology or even compensation, let me apologize to him. I’ll give him all my money and beg him to save you.”

“I can’t let you apologize to him. I’ll do it myself. If he’s willing to accept it, I’ll give him some money too.” Yara changed her tune, already completely swayed by Joseph.

She couldn’t bear to have him apologize on her behalf, so she was willing to apologize herself. Right now, she valued her life more than anything else and desperately wanted to be healthy again.
