name.

Yara immediately grew frightened, but she snorted and asked, “Aren’t you a part of the plan too?”

Joseph responded, “Part of the plan? I’ve only been with you for a few days. Besides, I’m not stupid enough to tell him right now. I’ll wait until I’ve married one of his people, or even have a child with her. Once I have my own protection, I’ll expose everything, and he won’t come after me.”

Yara snapped, “You’re shameless!”

Yara knew Joseph wasn’t going to expose her immediately. If that were his intention, he wouldn’t be telling her all this. He clearly wanted the money and connections she still had at his disposal.

Joseph questioned, “What gives you the right to call me shameless? You stole me away from Jenna…”
