Cora was shocked. “What? My husband went to your hospital and performed surgery right under your nose? Why didn’t you tell me?”

Sensing Cora’s displeasure, Joseph explained, “You had plenty of chances to get rid of Yara, but you never did. You were trying to draw Dr. Hart out. I have my own reasons for keeping Yara alive. So, I deliberately left an opening and allowed him and his team to sneak into the hospital.”

Cora questioned, “Why didn’t you tell me? Didn’t you know I was looking for him?”

Joseph answered, “If Dr. Hart wants to see you, he’ll come to you on his own. If he doesn’t want to see you and you keep forcing him, aren’t you worried he’ll turn against you? Of course, he wouldn’t hurt you, but what about your family? He took your mother away last time. Where do you think he put her?”
