Silas shook his head. “Is there something else I should be aware of? This is really all I wanted to discuss.”
“No, that's it,” Calliope replied, giving a small shake of her head. She seemed thoughtful, but didn’t say more, and Silas let the matter drop as well.
They turned their attention back to their meal, chatting quietly about the patient’s condition. Calliope asked when she’d be able to see the patient in person, since she needed a firsthand assessment before she could say anything definite.
“When do you have time?” Silas glanced at her. “Would Sunday work?”
“Sunday’s perfect,” Calliope agreed. “The timing actually works out well—if we left it any later, I might be tied up with a film project and have to be on set with the crew for a while.”
Silas nodded, remembering that Calliope was about to start a stretch of filming.
“Alright, Sunday it is.”
With their plans set, Calliope spent the next couple of days finishing up her work and making a visit to the hospital to check on Mavis. Mavis was still in a coma and showed no signs of waking.
Uriah, meanwhile, was pulling himself together. Though he continued to spend every night at the hospital, he devoted most of his days to his own work. He’d hired someone to stay with Mavis while he was away. Only after his workday ended would he return to keep watch over her.
Mavis’s condition was holding steady, even though she hadn’t regained consciousness. Her injuries were healing well, in no small part thanks to some of Calliope’s custom medicines.
Sunday arrived before they knew it.
Silas brought Calliope to a secluded villa on the edge of town. The estate was tucked away among lush gardens, filled with the scent of blossoms and the chatter of birds. Gardeners moved quietly among the flowerbeds, tending to the grounds.
Inside, house staff bustled about, and a full medical team—including several doctors and nurses—was stationed in the villa.
The moment Silas entered, the medical team stood promptly to greet him with respectful formality.

Oh wrestling expert ey? So is this Khamzat Chimaev or Shavkat Rakhmonov? Because Khabib's would be too haram....
Oh no. Million is just mix of Conor McGregor, Islam Makhachev, Mike Tyson, Max Holloway, Anderson Silva... I bet he lands 5sec flying knees like Jorge Masvidal too. Oh nope, 1sec knees. And has faster left hooks than Alex Pereira. Definitely would win UFC championship in every weight division including women. Poor Zhang Weili....
Okay so.... Million is now from East. Arctic wolf from East, modified genetically so he can manage his own Instagram and probably also box like Mike Tyson and snapping left hooks like Alex Pereira....
This is starting to be the same twister of abilities as Cassandra Yates and Tiffany. But question is, why the hell Silas can't just open his mouth and tell Caliope that she's the one whom he has in his heart. He would prevent a lot of misunderstanding. Seems like despite capability of talking with modified arctic wolf, she's not like telepathic....
Oh no, so FL is again another hidden genius with both hemispheres working on hundreds... Ffffuuuu. Cassandra Yates and Tiffany were already enough, ughugh. And Tiffany was even more exaggerated than Cassandra....
That's weird, in the first chapters there was said that her bio parents and bros doteď on Caliope but then they adopted Lisette, but this chapter suddenly says otherwise. Did author forget what he wrote?...
