A Reborn Bride Pearl Emerging from Dust novel Chapter 1052

“You’re married?” Linnea’s eyes went wide, her voice practically squeaking in disbelief. She gaped at Calliope, completely forgetting to keep up her usual poise.

Sylvia looked equally gobsmacked. “Wait, you’re actually married?”

There wasn’t the slightest hint of it. Who could snag a woman this breathtaking?

Calliope lifted her hand, letting the light catch on the band around her finger. “Here’s my wedding ring,” she said calmly.

“So you really are married?”

“And he’s your brother?”

“You’re his sister?”

Linnea glanced back and forth between Calliope and Julius, her face a swirl of confusion and shock. Calliope just didn’t fit the married woman stereotype—she was so young, so strikingly pretty. And weren’t Julius and Ulysses constantly hovering around her, like they were both trying to win her over? Now she says she’s married? Did her husband even know she’d attracted the attention of two heartthrobs at once?

“She’s my sister,” Julius cut in, voice steady. “So, no need to stir up rumors or spin wild theories.”

“Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry!” Linnea blurted, finally snapping out of her daze. “Total misunderstanding—honestly, I had no idea, I’m so sorry for jumping to conclusions!”

“It’s alright,” Calliope replied with an easy smile. “I know you like Julius. Besides, you didn’t actually gossip about anything.”

“But I did talk behind your back before…” Linnea moaned, suddenly looking remorseful. “What if you end up as my future sister-in-law? I shouldn’t have acted like that!”

“Of course,” Calliope agreed with a nod.

“Thanks! You’re so gorgeous—you look like you stepped out of a dream, even prettier than me, plus you’re sweet as can be. I absolutely adore you!”

The way Linnea’s feelings flipped from dislike to admiration was almost dizzying. Still, Calliope found it strangely endearing. Linnea seemed completely transparent—what you saw was what you got. Besides, she was genuinely talented.

The two chatted easily as they strolled back to the hotel, parting ways when they reached their rooms.

Julius was already in his own suite. Once inside, he fired off a grumpy message to Calliope, reminding her not to make a fuss—he really, truly wasn’t interested in Linnea.

Calliope just replied that she wouldn’t interfere. She’d let fate handle it. Though, truth be told, if Linnea ever became her sister-in-law, Calliope figured she wouldn’t mind one bit.
