For the first time, Sophie raised her voice in the Gray residence, drawing surprised looks from everyone around her.

Benson withdrew his gaze, looking cold and emotionless. "Why are you yelling? If you have something to say, just say it."

She felt stifled, her anger boiling inside, but she didn't dare lose her temper—she couldn't risk provoking Benson.

If he got angry enough to call off the wedding, all her efforts would have been for nothing. She'd end up with nothing—no man and no money.

Since she couldn't lash out at him, she redirected her frustration toward Sierra. "Aunt Sierra, you and Benson have both started new lives. It would be best to keep your distance from each other to avoid any unnecessary misunderstandings. Don't you agree, Uncle Theo?"

At the end of her remark, she deliberately dragged Theo into it.

Sierra's expression darkened as she responded coolly, "I'm not guilty at all. If you're worried, then you should keep an eye on him."

Ignoring Sophie's anger, she turned to Edward with a smile. "Edward, I have other commitments on their wedding day, so I won't be able to attend. As for the dress fitting, I'll pass."

Benson's wedding would be filled with Gray family business associates and friends of the couple. Without a doubt, people would bring up her past relationship with him.

She wasn't avoiding it out of heartbreak. She just didn't see the point in walking into a room full of gossip.

Sophie was delighted by Sierra's tactfulness, tilting her chin up as if she had just won a battle as her hand rested lightly on her stomach.

Benson hesitated for a moment, his lips slightly parted, but in the end, he remained silent.

He didn't want Sierra at his wedding, because he feared that the moment he saw her there, he wouldn't be able to stop himself from running away.

Edward was appeased and let out a sigh in his heart. "What a wonderful woman—Benson was truly undeserving of her."

He then turned to Theo with a serious expression. "You must go, too."

Theo remained composed, and his gaze rested on Sierra. "If Sierra goes, I'll go."

Sophie didn't understand why Edward insisted on having Sierra at the wedding. She convinced herself it was favoritism toward Theo and his wife, and resentment flared in her chest. She looked aggrieved.
