The King Of Warriors novel (Jared Chance) novel Chapter 6427

After dozens of brutal exchanges, the chance finally came.

"Marshal Stone drove out another full-power tyrant punch.

The force of it surged like a tide, crushing pressure spreading in every direction. Then the old strength spent itself, and the new strength had not yet risen. In the instant he drew back and turned sideways, his body stalled for the smallest beat.

The flaw opened."

"Jared's gaze snapped tight.

He caught the battle opportunity that might not come again in a thousand chances. His body blurred in an instant, leaving an afterimage in place while his true body slipped in like a ghost along Marshal Stone's side."

"Chaos-flame erupted wildly along the Dragonslayer Sword.

Purple fire wrapped the entire blade, scorching heat pressing outward, while the edge fixed with perfect accuracy on the soft gap beneath Marshal Stone's right ribs."

That spot was the fatal weak point where the protective patterns of the Aurelian Deathless Body ran thinnest, and where the opening after his move was widest.

Pshhkt!

"The sharp blade drove clean into deep flesh.

It split through the hardened skin, pierced the outer fascia, and reached straight toward the inner organs and meridians."

"Savage chaos-flame poured through the wound into Marshal Stone's body.

It burned through his organs, meridians, and nascence lifeblood without restraint, carrying a vicious destructive force made to break bodily nascence itself."

"Aaaahβ€”!"

"The pain ripped a roar out of Marshal Stone that shook the battlefield.

It bored deep into his chest and jarred his mind hard enough to break his rhythm."

"He forced himself through the internal damage and ignored the sword still buried in his body.

Power gathered in his right arm. Then he swept out with a savage sideways punch and smashed it into Jared's shoulder, sending Jared flying hard."

"Jared tumbled several times through the air before hitting the ground on one knee.

He dragged in breath after breath, blood and qi churning violently inside his chest. A thick new bruise had bloomed across his shoulder, the hand gripping his sword trembled slightly, and his strength had been burned down by a massive amount."

"Even so, the corner of his mouth lifted faintly.

The battle light in his eyes burned even stronger."

"The defense had been broken.

The nascence had been wounded. The advantage in this fight had begun to tilt toward Jared's side."

"Marshal Stone lowered his head and stared at the bleeding wound beneath his right ribs.

The charred flesh was still being scorched by chaos-flame, slowing its healing by a huge margin. Aurelian nascence continued leaking out, and his combat strength was draining away in silence."

"His face turned dark as deep water.

Murderous intent boiled in his eyes, and that violent heat surged straight through his chest."

"You have successfully provoked me. Today, I will tear your flesh apart and crush your spirit!"

"Pushed past restraint, Marshal Stone ripped apart the ruined battle robe covering his upper body.

His broad chest was exposed, covered in dark golden nascence patterns."

"Every single pattern was a nascence mark left behind by ten thousand years of tempering his body.

Each one held vast Aurelian force. Now they all lit at once, their radiance swelling until they looked like open flames burning across his flesh."

"The Aurelian Deathless Body, Second Form: Heaven's Pyre!"

"The low command fell, and Marshal Stone's skin began changing fast.

Dark gold turned to blazing red, like refined iron heated until it glowed, scorching and white-hot beneath the air."

"The temperature around him shot upward.

The frozen soil melted rapidly, steam rose in sheets, and the moisture in the air vanished in an instant. For several dozen yards in every direction, the ground became dry and searing, with heat waves pressing hard against everything nearby."

"His strength, speed, reactions, and explosive power all surged by 50 percent.

His overall combat power doubled, the increase so savage it bent the shape of the fight around him."

"Jared's pupils tightened slightly, and every part of him drew taut.

This was Marshal Stone's true trump-card strength. The hard fight had only just begun."

"With the Heaven's Pyre state burning through him, Marshal Stone took one step forward.

The ground detonated beneath his foot, blasting open into a massive crater. His body came down like a meteor, so fast that even Jared's battle-heightened vision could barely pin him down."

Bang!

"The heavy punch landed dead center on Jared's chest.

The force behind it was overwhelming."

"Jared flew backward like a kite with its string cut.

He smashed hard into the ground and drove a human-shaped pit into the frozen earth. Pain ripped through every part of him, and his blood and qi surged wildly inside his chest."

"He clenched his teeth and forced himself up with the Dragonslayer Sword as his support.

Another mouthful of golden blood essence sprayed from his lips. His injuries kept stacking, one on top of the last."

"Marshal Stone gave him no chance to draw even half a breath.

He pressed in with the momentum, fist-shadows falling like rain, one after another without a break. Any single punch carried enough power to smash mountains and tear through solid stone."

"Jared pushed his evasion to the limit and fought for space wherever he could.

"Inside the great array, Gwendolyn had already been forced to the edge.

Her situation had turned perilous in every direction."

"Silver longswords kept hammering down like a rainstorm.

The light of the Frostwrought Panoply dimmed and dimmed. Her spiritual power drained at a terrifying speed, her meridians stung beyond endurance, and fresh wounds kept opening across her body. Blood loss pulled the strength from her limbs, and her stamina dropped sharply."

"Her breathing came fast.

Her stance gradually lost its steadiness. Still, she guarded the center of the array with everything she had and refused to retreat even half a step."

"Marshal Grey stood outside the array, controlling it at his leisure.

His face carried a cold, pleased edge. He looked like a cat playing with a mouse, toying with her however he liked."

"""So what if you carry the Frost-Deity inheritance? Trapped alone in an array, with your spiritual power exhausted, you still can't escape death.

""The celestials will unite the heavens. That tide cannot be reversed. You rebels are destined to be buried in the Wastelands without even bones left behind."""

"Gwendolyn shut all of it out.

Her mind sank to stillness, cutting away every scrap of noise from the outside world."

"She slowly closed her eyes.

The Frostbrand rested horizontally before her chest as she traced back through the memories of the inheritance, searching for the ultimate killing technique of the Frost Deity Branch."

"During her past cultivation, she had only memorized the sword technique's formula in broad strokes.

She had never forced it into motion, because the price was too great. It would drain her nascence and damage her foundation."

"But this dead end left no road of retreat.

If she could not break the array, she could not rush to Jared's aid. If she could not break the array, death was certain. The only path left was to stake everything on one desperate strike."

"In that instant, her eyes snapped open.

Cold light surged inside her ice-blue gaze, leaving no space for hesitation or return."

"Inside Gwendolyn, the Frost-Deity nascence drove itself to its limit.

Every last measure of soul-force poured into the blade. Around her, the frost energy climbed higher and higher, until the frost energy spread through the world began to gather toward her in a wild rush."

"Ancient sigils lit across the Frostbrand.

Their light flowed around her body and answered the markings on the Frostwrought Panoply from afar. The two forces resonated together, shaking into one another until their pressure towered over the battlefield."

"The Frost-Deity Requiem of the Ages!"

"Her cold, clear cry cut through the air.

Then the sword came down. The strike shook the world and tore into the formation."
