The King Of Warriors novel (Jared Chance) novel Chapter 6510

"The violet spiritual light lingering around Jared slowly drew back like a tide.

Every retreating strand carried a rhythm that was hard to put into words, as if the world-law was weaving itself anew inside his body."

"The Aureate Codex's golden sigils gradually dimmed across the surface of his skin.

They had not vanished. They had sunk deep into his flesh and blood, fusing with his meridians, bones, and organs until there was no separation left."

"That gold was no longer an outer brilliance.

It had become part of his life-nascence itself. Pale golden patterns appeared across the surface of his bones, like inscriptions branded there by ancient gods."

His cultivation held steady at True Immortal Realm Level Six.

But this was no ordinary True Immortal Realm Level Six.

"He curled his hand slightly into a fist.

A low crackle sounded between his knuckles. It was not loud, yet the air throughout the side hall trembled because of it."

"The spiritual essence in the hall seemed to be drawn by something unseen.

With him at the center, it formed a vortex visible to the naked eye."

"Chaotic force surged through his meridians.

It was like some savage beast from the primordial age lying in wait."

"His fleshly body had become more than just several times stronger than it had been before its destruction.

Every inch of his skin shimmered with a faint violet sheen, and beneath it, golden sigils could be seen flowing without end. It was the strange manifestation born from the fusion of the Aureate Codex and chaotic force."

"His meridians were as broad as great rivers.

Spiritual power rushed through them without pause, and every breath he took drew in and released the vast power of the world."

"The Aureate Codex's warding sigils flickered over his body, half seen and half hidden.

They were like golden dragons swimming beneath the surface, appearing one moment and sinking away the next, carrying an ancient and solemn majesty."

"He stood where he was without deliberately releasing any pressure.

Even so, the aura that naturally spread from him had already made the entire side hall feel several degrees heavier."

"The jade set into the pillars gave off a faint hum.

It was as though even they could barely withstand his presence."

"The spiritual patterns on the floor were suppressed by his aura.

Lines that had once shone bright now dulled until they had almost no light left."

Master Wellspring remained kneeling on the ground, tears running freely down his face.

"He shook as he wept.

The words broke apart before he could force them into a complete sentence."

"Now Jared had been restored.

He was no longer that frail wisp of soul, no longer that dim Soul Pearl. He stood there as a living, breathing man."

"The green robe on him looked the same as before. His longsword rested at his side.

In those purple eyes, the whole world seemed to be reflected back, as if everything beneath the sky had already fallen within his grasp."

"Master Wellspring tried to speak.

All that came out was a choked, broken sound."

"He bent forward and knocked his head to the floor, pressing his forehead against the cold jade tiles.

Tears soaked into the stone beneath him. He had waited far too long for this day."

Morgana stood off to one side, dressed in white like fresh snow.

She had put her plain white palace dress back on, and her ink-dark hair fell loose down her back.

"Her face still held a faint pallor.

Jared had been too fierce. She had nearly failed to withstand him."

"But the corner of her mouth carried the barest curve.

It was faint, almost easy to miss, yet it held the kind of ease that came from somewhere deep inside."

She had lived for tens of thousands of years.

Across those tens of thousands of years, she had watched countless prodigies rise.

"Some had been born with the bearing of emperors. Some had defied fate and rewritten their lives.

Some had reached enlightenment in a single morning and ascended to the Upper Realm."

"She had seen Golden Immortals come into being.

She had seen Arch-Immortals fall. She had seen the world collapse, then be forged anew."

But someone like Jared—this was the first time she had ever seen one.

"It was not because his talent stood above all others.

In the Seventeenth Firmament, geniuses were as common as fish crossing a river."

"It was not because his battle strength was unmatched, either.

Any existence above Golden Immortal Level Three could crush him with a casual move."

It was because there was something in him that could not be neatly put into words.

Yet they struck the side hall like six thunderclaps going off at once."

Wellspring’s face changed on the spot.

The flush in his cheeks drained away, leaving him starkly pale. The tears in his eyes seemed to freeze there. "Aureate Heir, what did you say? Return to the Sixteenth Firmament?"

His voice rose before he could hold it down. "You only just rebuilt your body with such difficulty, and your cultivation has barely recovered. How can you..."

"It’s exactly because I’ve recovered that I have to go back."

Jared cut him off.

He turned, his violet eyes settling on Wellspring.

There was no heat in those eyes, no sharpness, not even a ripple.

That very calm stopped every word Wellspring had left and locked it in his throat.

"My companion Gwendolyn is still in the Sixteenth Firmament. She may still be inside the dungeons of the Celestial Alliance."

Jared’s voice paused. When those three words left his mouth, they carried a faint tremor so slight that almost no one else could have caught it. "How long has she been locked away? How much torment has she suffered? Every single day, she has been waiting for me. I can’t make her wait too long."

Wellspring’s lips shook.

He wanted to argue. He wanted to say, "You can go, but wait until you’re stronger." He wanted to say, "We should bring more people." He wanted to say, "The Seventeenth Firmament needs you more."

But not one word came out.

Morgana’s brows drew together by the smallest degree.

She had lived for tens of thousands of years and had seen too many separations by life and death. Long ago, she had tempered herself into something iron-hard.

Even so, she spoke. "Jared, this sovereign knows you are in a hurry."

Her voice was very soft, but every word landed clearly, carrying the particular grace of the vulpine queen. "But your current cultivation is only True Immortal Realm Level Six. The Sixteenth Firmament may be called the Lower Realm, but it still has foundations at the Golden Immortal rank. If you go alone and anything goes wrong..."

"Your Majesty."

Jared turned and faced Morgana directly.

His gaze was open and level, and there was even the faintest trace of a smile in it.

"I’m not alone."

Morgana went still for a beat.

Jared lifted his right hand and opened his palm.

A wisp of violet chaos-flame flickered in his palm. The flame was quiet, with no violent roar and no blazing glare.

It only flickered there, slow and steady, yet the temperature in the side hall shot upward.

The air warped around the flame. Fine cracks surfaced along the jade stone pillars, marks left where the structure of space itself had been burned.
