Fairfax replied, "Within three days."
"Including what's in Annika's name?"
Fairfax fell silent. At the mention of Annika, his expression stiffened. He had been furious with Darleen the past two days for transferring all of Starla’s assets away. Getting back what was under his mother's and sisters’ names was one thing, but what was already in his grandmother's possession…
Seeing Fairfax's frozen silence, Starla pressed, "What? Is it no longer mine?"
"Whatever my grandmother has, I'll compensate you double for it."
With that one sentence, it was clear. He was hesitant to confront Annika.
Starla raised an eyebrow. "And what if I want exactly what was originally mine?"
Fairfax clenched his jaw. "You…"
"What belongs to me? Ha! I bet your mother returned it with one hand, only for Annika to snatch it away with the other, right? After all, once it's in Annika's name, not even you, Fairfax, can get it back for me, can you?"
With every word, Starla's tone grew more mocking. "Do you know how disgusted I felt every time you brought me a gift over the years?"
Fairfax remained silent, his face a mask of frustration.
Starla continued, "As a husband, you gave me so many gifts without ever knowing if they truly belonged to me. Fairfax, you're a failure as a husband and a coward as a man. You don't deserve to be married; you don't deserve a wife."
"So what right do you have to refuse a divorce? I was foolish enough to waste my time with you before, but do you really expect me to live a lifetime of misery with you?"
Fairfax's silence was heavy, the air around him growing colder. But Starla's stance was unyielding. The gentle, understanding woman she once was had vanished completely.
Fairfax closed his eyes for a moment. "Get everything back in your name, and you stop all the attacks on Brinley?"
The media storm surrounding Brinley was a serious problem. Though he hated to admit it, Fairfax knew that as long as Starla refused to back down, the public would continue to tear Brinley apart. At the mention of Brinley, Starla's gaze on Fairfax grew even more silent and profound.
Fairfax sighed in resignation. "Fine. I'll have Gabriel start transferring everything back to you."
"Especially what Annika has," she emphasized again.
The steel in her voice gave him a throbbing headache.

Why The ML is Idiot 😂😂😂 i Dont understand,i Think herbert is more suitable to become the ML he is most compose and calm than the ML 😂😂...
"You're a failure as a husband and coward as a Man" This is what i want to say in Fairfax hahaha you dont deserved a wife if you cant protect her...
Hahaha This plot of story i hate about, choosing another girl instead of your own wife is something unreal, you didnt considered your wife feeling, you didnt even trust her and later on you will say sorry?? Was sorry will fixed everything you've done? Was sorry fixed her heart? it was unfair for your wife, you must choose your wife whatever it is. You know your wife well more than anyone else and the only person she should lean on was the person who pushes her away...
