Abandoned by All I Took It All Back novel Chapter 106

In his mind, the only reason Janina had divorced him was because she was throwing a jealous fit.

Since she had such a temper, he might as well show her that he, Julius, didn't need her. Wasn't she prone to jealousy?

Well, let's give her something more to be jealous about.

In the dressing room, Janina and Summer, the subjects of this scheme, were completely oblivious to the drama that was about to unfold.

Just as Julius and Yvonne were about to enter the venue, they ran into Vincent and Iris.

The Aurelius and Shaw families had business dealings, and though Vincent had forgone the family business to pursue his dreams abroad, the two men knew each other.

Vincent approached him first. "Mr. Aurelius, what a coincidence. Fancy seeing you here. It's been a few years, but you're looking as sharp as ever."

Julius clapped him on the shoulder familiarly. "A few years overseas seem to have taught you how to flatter people," he teased.

The two men smiled and shared a brief handshake and hug.

"When did you get back? You didn't even tell me," Julius said as they began walking toward the ballroom.

"It's been a few months. By the way, this is..." Vincent glanced at Yvonne, about to say 'your wife,' but something held him back.

Vincent had been abroad when Julius got married and hadn't been able to attend.

He had only seen pictures of Janina, never in person.

But the woman standing before him looked nothing like the photos, so he chose his words carefully.

Julius was unaware of the rapid calculations going through Vincent's mind.

He casually introduced her. "This is my date for the evening, Yvonne. She's a friend of mine."
