Abandoned by All I Took It All Back novel Chapter 116

"Shut up!"

Ava's sharp voice cut him off. "The 'lover' you speak of is Alan, the top international stylist. He was invited here today to style Miss Quinn."

Ava let out a cold laugh. "Mr. Shaw, I'm afraid you've put on the wrong 'green hat.'"

Vincent's mind went blank. How could that be?

He instinctively rejected what Ava was saying.

He knew his own wife, didn't he?

How could she possibly know an international stylist?

Besides, she didn't have any money.

Iris's face turned deathly pale at the news. She refused to believe it.

Summer was a nobody.

All her friends had walked away. She had no money left. How could any stylist with an international reputation ever agree to take her on?

Iris clutched Vincent's sleeve tightly. "Vincent, they must be in on it together..."

“Take them away,” Ava said, her patience clearly gone. She waved a hand toward the security guards. “And until Miss Quinn is awake, make sure these two... enjoy our hospitality.”

As the security guards moved in, Vincent finally panicked. "You have no right to do this! This is illegal detention!"

Without turning back, Ava tossed a final comment over her shoulder. "Then call the police. It'll be a perfect opportunity for them to investigate a case of intentional assault."

She paused, adding with a meaningful tone, "Oh, and I forgot to tell you, Mr. Shaw, Nova Group's legal team hasn't taken on a new case in a year."

Those words plunged Vincent into an icy abyss.

Only then did he realize he might have crossed someone he should never have provoked.

Vincent and Iris were forcibly taken away by security.

The onlookers were left confused, still eager for more drama, but the main players were gone.

Everyone silently decided they wouldn't be leaving after the gala. They had to stay for the gossip.

"You brat, you're going to kill me! I'm sweating all over from running. I'm hungry. I'll go after I eat."

Easton knew the old man was throwing another tantrum.

Thinking of his sister's urgency, Easton grabbed Fairchild's hand again and tried to coax him.

"There's even more food on the third floor. So many delicious things. I'll take you up there. Nina's there, too."

Fairchild's eyes lit up. "Really?"

"Cross my heart!"

And just like that, Fairchild was tricked into going to the third floor.

But when he walked in, he realized there was no food.

The room was packed with people, all crowded around the bed where a pale, motionless figure lay - looking barely alive.

Fairchild shot Easton a dirty look and turned to leave.
