Abandoned by All I Took It All Back novel Chapter 200

Genevieve shrieked at Janina, only then noticing her large, pregnant belly.

A sneer twisted Genevieve's lips. "What are you so proud of? You get pregnant only to be kicked out by your man."

Seeing Genevieve slander her daughter, Grace stepped forward, shielding Janina behind her. Her eyes, sharp as daggers, locked onto Genevieve.

"It's a shame that a long neck like yours is holding up a pig's head. You can put on all the lipstick you want, but it can't hide the filth coming out of your mouth. You're a mother, but instead of teaching your own daughter some manners, you're egging her on to spew poison at people."

"Ha, it's no wonder Brooke's personality is just like yours. Now I see it. The filth in both your hearts is more disgusting than a sewer. I can smell the stench from all the way over here. Nina, Ethan, let's go before it rubs off on us."

Hearing Grace's words, Genevieve looked ready to explode. She pointed a trembling finger at her, her voice seething with rage. "You—what did you say? Grace!"

She practically spat the name from between clenched teeth.

She had always lost to Grace. After Grace's family fell from grace, she had finally been able to look down on her, to relish her misfortune.

She had assumed Grace would be easy to intimidate, that country folk were inherently meek and wouldn't dare talk back.

Who knew that Grace could be even more vicious with her words than she was?

"I said your mouth is full of sewage," Grace replied calmly, then took Janina's arm and walked away.

Genevieve and Brooke were left speechless with fury. Genevieve didn't dare chase after them and start a physical fight. She was, after all, a lady of high society. How could she get into a brawl with a country hag?

It would be beneath her.

But the rage was choking her, with no way to vent it.

Finally, she could only glare at their retreating backs and hiss a threat.
