Right as Yvonne lunged at Janina, Natalie arrived and dropped her with a single kick.

Julius was still processing the cola incident when he heard Yvonne's scream. He couldn't believe they would dare to attack Yvonne again. "You two… you've gone too far! Yvonne is in this state, and you're still causing trouble? What more do you want? Are you trying to kill her?"

Julius practically spat the words out, his face twisted with rage.

Janina, however, merely arched an eyebrow in amusement, savoring the sight of the disheveled woman and the enraged man. The frustration that had been building for days finally found a release, and she let out a genuine laugh.

"Tsk, tsk. Causing trouble? What trouble am I causing? Yvonne was the one trying to hurt me; I just fought back. As for my sister's kick, she was obviously sticking up for me. You don't expect her to side with a stranger, do you?"

Janina's eyes glinted with sarcasm as she looked at the drama queen. Her tone was glacial. Yvonne's eyes grew redder, and tears streamed down her face as if on command. She looked incredibly wronged.

"Miss Holt, I just wanted to say hello, and you attacked me. You…"

"Shut up!" Janina cut her off before she could finish, knowing she would only spin more lies. Janina glanced around; this was a corner the security cameras couldn't see.

Her gaze flickered to Julius's darkened face, then back to the pathetically weeping Yvonne, where she caught a flash of defiance and malice.

Janina took two steps forward and leaned in slightly, ignoring the hatred in Yvonne's eyes. A playful smile touched her lips. "Yvonne, you messed with me. Now you have to face the consequences."

As she spoke, she slipped off a flat‑soled shoe and gripped it in her hand. With her left hand, she grabbed a fistful of Yvonne's hair, and with her right, she swung the shoe at her face.

Thinking of her parents and children was like a sharp stab to the heart.

She might have looked calm on the surface, but inside, she'd already fallen apart. She had even drafted a will the night before, just in case. And now this drama queen had the nerve to challenge her.
