Penny stared at Hughes with innocent face, blinking her blue eyes multiple times for her maid. Hughes has been the closest of a mother figure to her, and had been the most caring person ever.

She knew the rules, she knew her father had instructed Hughes not to let her out of the premises where the guards could protect her Incase Osvaldo ask his men to catch her. But she was bored.

There was no Osvaldo to care for all day. At least he keeps her entertained with his little talks and madness. He even gets to teach her a few things in the lab, new chemical and experiments.

"Hughes." Penny called sweetly with pouted lips.

"No." Hughes shook her head making her final word. There’s no way she would let Penny go out with her, not only was it bad for her and the baby, but it would put her in serious trouble with Xavier Bloodsworth.

That man was dangerous and had warned her over and over again to protect his daughter and grandchild with her life. In his words, "Nothing must happen to my Penny."

"It wouldn’t be for long Hughes, I’m dying here." Penny held her hands. She looked fully dressed. Lip gloss intact, hair already styled in her little way. Penny looked even more beautiful now she was an expecting mother.

"You certainly are not dying as I can see. You look healthier than ever. There’s nothing on the outside for you to want to see Miss Penny."

"There is and you know it. At least let me do the honour of picking out my children’s clothes." Penny argued.

Hughes smiled at her thoughts. How things have changed so quickly.

"Vegetables are here. Fresh vegetables, do you want some?" A woman seated just at the edge of the market with a table filled with several vegetables to it’s end called and Hughes stood before ber. Her vegetables looked fresh indeed and beautiful.

After her vegetables were packaged, she walked over to the beef sector and bough good amouth of beef. This would be enough to last them for a whole week. Penny needed fresh food that is why she had come here to get them.

She walked over to the chicken area and then the see food section where she bought a lot too before heading to the car to drop the once she’s got.

After arranging the items at the boot, Hughes went forward to check on her mistress. Surely Penny must be bored, maybe she could show her around a little and maybe they could go get the little baby item from the boutique nearby before they get back home.

When Hughes opened the car, her eyes turned wide. Penny was no where to be found.

Hughes panicked immediately. What the hell was happening? Where could her madam had gone?

She had left Penny here. She left Penny right here and asked her not to go anywhere.

"Where is madam?" Hughes asked the chauffer who sat calmly in the driver’s seat.

"She said she was going to get the roasted chicken at the roadside right there and now I don’t know where she’s gone to." The man shrugged.

"What nonsense are you spewing from that mouth of yours? You were asked to watch her closely." Hughes yelled.

She crossed over to the road side where they sold roasted chicken only to see Penny seated on a bench, her teeth tearing into the full bird in her hands."

"Miss Penny." Hughes whispered.

"Are you done?" Penny asked. "The babies wanted roadside chicken and I couldn’t deny them that." Penny smacked her lips.
