Graham was pacing around the room, mostly behind our couches anxiously.

I did not know why, but it seemed like he did not want her to tell me anything.

“The truth is that I am only marrying Graham until I transition. At my first transition, when I can show the council that my wolf is safe, I will ask for a divorce,” she remarked.

The minute she said that, it felt as if my heart revived. I kept watching her face in shock.
