After All the Hurt, She Chose Herself novel Chapter 100

Flora gritted her teeth. "You never said it was addictive! And you're so cruel to Lilith, who knew if you were telling the truth or not? If you really meant to warn us, why didn't you have Dr. Reaves tell us?"

Aria almost laughed in disbelief.

Her warning wasn't enough? She needed her professor to warn them too?

And had he not warned them? Wasn't he also dismissed by Charles?

Aria knew that Flora was just making excuses for her own mistakes.

She secretly activated the voice recorder shortcut on her phone, her tone calm.

"How was I cruel to Lilith? In high school, you and Lilith ganged up to isolate and bully me, and now you expect me to just turn the other cheek? The fact that I warned you at all is a testament to my character!"

"And don't forget, I still have the videos of you bullying me. Push me, and I'll post them online to take you both down with me!"

Hearing Aria's words and the questioning murmurs from the people around them, Flora instantly calmed down.

"What nonsense are you spouting? What video? Be careful, or I'll sue you for slander!"

As she spoke, Flora dragged Aria into a hospital stairwell.

The movement was rough, and a sharp pain shot through Aria's body.

She shook off Flora's hand and stared at her coldly. "Why did you drag me in here?"

Flora locked the stairwell door, grabbed a handful of Aria's hair, and yanked it hard. Her voice had lost all its previous delicate charm.

"Aria, if you ever dare to bring up what happened back then again, I'll kill you."

Flora had been a delinquent in high school, and it was clear she hadn't changed.

But Aria wasn't afraid anymore.

"You were brave enough to do it, but you're too scared to let me talk about it?"
