After All the Hurt, She Chose Herself novel Chapter 218

[Nooocheese: May the spirit of a top scholar bless me so I can get into grad school.]

Aria liked the comment. [Wishing you the best of luck with your applications!]

Overnight, Aria gained a million followers. Her awards were all verifiable, impossible to fake, and on top of that, she had the blockchain evidence as her trump card. For once, her comment section was overwhelmingly positive.

At the same time, her DMs were flooded. Many people, realizing they were in trouble, began sending private messages to apologize, promising to delete their comments. But it was too late.

Aria simply ignored them and continued to interact with the supportive women in her comments.

Raphael had already parked the car at the hospital without her noticing. “You’re glowing with happiness, like a little kid.”

Aria subconsciously touched her cheeks, which were stiff from smiling. “Am I? Maybe it’s because I haven’t been around so many nice women in a long time…”

She had been bullied by Flora since she was fifteen. Now she was twenty-six. For eleven years, she had almost forgotten how to interact normally with people her own age. Receiving so much support all at once filled her with a comforting warmth.

“I haven’t had a normal social life with friends in a long time. I was always either studying or busy with networking to make money.”

“Well, this year will be different.” Raphael leaned in, unbuckled Aria’s seatbelt, and smiled faintly. “You’ll have a lot of people supporting you. Aria, you deserve to be happy.”

Flora paused for a second, then pressed herself closer to him. “I was thinking that for you, I was willing to do anything…”

Charles’s hand at his side clenched into a fist. Flora definitely wasn't the one. For all these years, he had been looking for the wrong person.

Charles’s experiment had required a dose of medication every single day for seven consecutive days before any results could be seen. That was why so many people had refused to participate—the frequent doses were considered too risky.

Flora kissed Charles, her eyes full of affection. “Charles, really, I’ve liked you for so long. Ever since high school. You have no idea how happy I was when I found out I could help you…”

Charles awkwardly pushed her away and stood up, his voice cool. “Flora, it’s late. Since you want to sleep in this room, I’ll take the one next door. Get some rest.”
