Aria got a text. It turned out she wasn't a VIP.
[Aria: I'll be right there.]
"Aria, I'm over here," Raphael said, striding over with his long legs. "I was just looking for you."
Ivy said, "Raphael? What are you doing here? There are so many people..."
"That's my business."
Raphael ignored Ivy and spoke gently to Aria. "I already asked Dr. Reaves. He likes this place quite a bit. Don't you still have a hundred million dollars on hand? It's perfect for buying a place here."
A hundred million dollars?!
Aria could hear the audible gasps around her.
Ivy had just been mocking Aria for not having the money to buy a house here, and the sales staff had treated her the same way. Now, hearing that Aria had a hundred million dollars in liquid funds, their eyes went wide.
The sales agent who had originally been assigned to Aria quickly adopted a fawning tone. "Ms. Rowan, if you had mentioned your budget was so generous, I would have taken you straight to the center villas. Let's go take a look now..."
"No need. I'm going to look at houses with him."
Aria glanced at Ivy, whose face had gone a shade paler, and offered a polite smile. "I won't interrupt your house hunting, Ms. Wynn. Carry on."
With that, Aria followed Raphael to view the properties.
Having money really felt amazing.
Aria's lips curved upward.
In a week, Gideon would be transferring another two hundred million dollars to her, so she really didn't care about the price tag anymore.
After looking around, Aria was very satisfied with a smaller villa.
"I'll take this one. Just swipe my card."
