Too bad. Even with all his connections, Charles couldn't get Ivy into her research group.
"Gideon agreed to have Charles drop the lawsuit so that Ivy could get into the institute."
Aria spoke as she replied to Mira's message.
Raphael’s frown deepened.
He immediately made a call to confirm.
"Have Ivy dismissed immediately."
Listening to Raphael, Aria couldn't help but turn to look at him.
Whatever the response was, Raphael's frown remained fixed.
After hanging up, Raphael’s voice was a little rough. "The institute just said that as soon as Ivy joined, she contacted a top international lab—HM—to propose a collaboration. They're also studying genetic diseases and hope to partner with us. As a sign of good faith, they're offering to share their research findings from the past few years."
HM. Aria knew of that lab.
It was the most authoritative research institute in the Marquen Realm.
And for the last few years, its primary focus had been genetic diseases.
If they could get their hands on those resources, the experiments would likely proceed much more smoothly.
Even if Aria didn't need their results, Alden had dedicated his life to studying genetic diseases. It was his life's pursuit…
Aria lowered her gaze. "So, she's staying, isn't she?"
"Can you accept her staying at the Flourish East Campus?"
"Flourish East Campus?" Aria was puzzled. "When did Flourish Dominion get a Flourish East Campus?"
Raphael smiled. "As of now."
"Why do you think Ivy's return was to facilitate a collaboration between HM and Flourish Dominion?"
Raphael looked a bit surprised. "You don't know that HM has also been searching for Dawn for the past few years? Now that Dawn is openly experimenting at the Flourish Research Institute, plenty of institutes are eager to work with Flourish Dominion."
Aria subconsciously touched her nose.
She actually had no idea.
She had been so busy building her business and squeezing in time to study traditional medicine these past few years that it was already overwhelming. She had no time to keep up with the world of research institutes.
"Only by getting Ivy into the institute can HM feel secure enough to collaborate. After all, they'll have 'one of their own' on the inside. Otherwise, they wouldn't trust us."
Hearing Raphael's explanation, Aria chuckled mischievously.
"I had no idea Dawn was so popular. The Marquen Realm used to be the one imposing sanctions on us, and now it's our turn to put the screws to them! We'll set up a Flourish East Campus, making them unwilling to leave but forced to share data at a loss if they stay. Hahaha, it's fun just thinking about it!"
