After Being Replaced I Left Them All Behind-Now They Regret It novel Chapter 208

Chapter 208

Chapter 208

‘These clueless man-children are a lost cause.

‘If they weren’t born with silver spoons and destined to have housekeepers doing everything for them, no girl would ever marry these guys,’ she grumbled to herself.

With all three of them pestering her, Nicole had no choice but to grit her teeth and head back into the kitchen, even though her hand still hurt.

She asked the production team for a glove, slipped it on, and started slicing the meat super carefully.

The chat was just roasting her, thinking she was being way too dramatic and totally putting

on an act.

Meanwhile, Nicole’s fans started dragging those three clueless dudes, feeling bad for their girl.

They clapped back at anyone calling Nicole fake, going off in the comments.

“Come on, she’s a rich girl! Of course she doesn’t know how to chop veggies-she’s got staff for that,” they kept saying.

The other viewers couldn’t hold back and clapped right back, “Is she really some rich heiress or what? Do her fans seriously have no self-awareness?”

The comment section exploded, and even random passersby started getting a pretty bad impression of Nicole.

Then the hashtag [NicoleGotHurtAndCried] shot up the trending list again, making the general public even more fed up with her.

‘Seriously, how many times is she going to get hurt in a single day?’ people griped in the chat.

‘She cuts her finger and it’s trending again? Does this ever stop, or is it just endless drama with her?’ others snarked.

After a while, Nicole ended up making two dishes.

One was tofu and cabbage soup, and the other was stir-fried cured pork with green onions and chili.

She also cooked up some rice in the rice cooker.

When the food finally hit the table, Jett, Caleb, and Nicolas all pulled the same unimpressed face.

But they were so hungry, they just kept quiet.

Caleb opened up the rice cooker and scooped some out. “Why is this rice so watery?”

Nicole peeked over with an embarrassed smile. “Guess I put in a little too much water.”

Back home, the staff always made the rice for her, so she never had to figure out the water herself.

Caleb was so hungry, otherwise he’d never eat this stuff.

He just shrugged, “Whatever, let’s just pretend it’s porridge.”

Caleb dished out some rice for everyone, and they each grabbed a piece of meat.

And then, one by one, they all spat it right back out.

“Damn, why is this meat so salty?”

“Seriously, this is way too salty.”

“This tastes awful.”

Nicole gave them a weird look, then grabbed a piece herself.

She took a bite and immediately spat it out.

Then it hit her. “Oh, shoot, I totally forgot cured pork is already salty, so I added even more salt.”

The Hammond family never ate cured pork, and Nicole never had to cook with it growing

Plus, she’d been so distracted by feeling sorry for herself that she didn’t even notice how salty

it was.

Caleb and the other two were speechless. ‘She actually forgot something that obvious?

‘Wasn’t she supposed to be some kind of cooking pro? Seriously?’ they grumbled inwardly.

Then the three of them helped themselves to the cabbage and tofu soup.

It was fine-nothing wrong with it, but honestly, just plain boiled veggies. Nothing to write home about.

Jett pulled out his phone and tuned into the other team’s livestream.

He saw Alicia’s eyes light up at Hannah, couldn’t stop raving about how tasty everything was.

She looked like she was loving every bite.

The other two guys joined in, hyping Hannah up too.

Hannah was all smiles, clearly loving the attention.

Jett made a face. “Now this is what real food looks like.

“Watching them eat is just making me hungrier.”

Hearing Jett say that, Caleb and Nicolas ended up checking out the other team’s stream themselves.

Watching it just made them even hungrier.

Both of them knew Alicia well.

She was a total foodie-whenever she tasted something good, her face would just light up with happiness.

And she was never shy about showering praise.

Meanwhile, all they had were two sad little dishes-and one was a total disaster, nobody could even eat it.

But the other team had a full spread: four dishes and a soup, two meat and two veggie, and the variety was impressive. Everything looked way more appetizing than theirs.

The three guys just looked dead inside, powered through their bowls of rice, then set them down with a sigh.

After that, they mumbled something about getting some fresh air and slipped out to the yard
