“How can going to the hospital ever be good news? Babe, don’t try to sugarcoat it. What’s actually going on?”
“You’ll find out in about ten minutes. I’m heading over now.”
Natalie kept it all mysterious, refusing to let anything slip over the phone. Jordan had nothing left to do but sigh and say, “Alright, I’ll wait for you at the office. Drive safe.”
“Got it.”
With that, their call ended.
Isabella didn’t catch Natalie’s words, but Jordan’s side of the conversation was crystal clear. As soon as Jordan put his phone down, Isabella spoke up. “So your wife goes to the hospital, calls it ‘good news,’ and you actually believe her? Jordan, she might be pregnant. But whether that kid is yours… that’s anyone’s guess.”
If it weren’t for the photos sitting between them, Isabella would have had no reason to doubt whose baby it was. But now, after seeing them, she wasn’t so sure. If Natalie was actually pregnant, there was a good chance the child didn’t belong to Jordan. Both he and Natalie had done their own share of betraying. The difference? Natalie seemed like she’d been drugged and set up. Jordan, though, had outright cheated and fallen for someone else.
“What are you even saying, Isabella?” Jordan’s features darkened, and he nearly spat her name. “Natalie might like Ethan, but nothing happened between them. Nothing.”
He might be doubting his own wife these days, but at least he trusted Ethan. If Ethan wanted to cross that line with Natalie, it would’ve happened a long time ago. Not now. The way Isabella was talking, it was clear she was trying to drive a wedge between him and Natalie. Sure, Jordan was still sneaking around behind Natalie’s back, but he wasn’t planning to leave her. He wanted to keep their marriage together, patch things up, and move on. Isabella’s words just set him off.
“Jordan, did you look close? Is that Natalie?”
He glared at Isabella, hands shaking with anger. It wasn’t exactly clear who he was mad at—her, or his wife.
Pretending to be helpful, Isabella stood, pulled her chair out, and started scooping up the scattered photos from the floor. She placed them neatly in front of Jordan.
“Take your time. Don’t jump to conclusions and accuse the wrong person. Remember, you two grew up together. Natalie’s always loved you more than Ethan, otherwise she never would’ve chosen you. Try to trust her, okay? But if it really is her in those photos, then yeah, she’s probably pregnant. The only thing is… whose baby is she having? That’s the part nobody knows.”

The readers' comments on the novel: After I Stopped Loving Him (Isabella and Ethan)
I will be devastated if Isabella and Ethan will get back together. Please, writer, Isabella deserves Harold....
Author, please get your characters names right. You always messing them up!...
I wish Harold will win Isabella's heart. I was so sad when Isabela was taken for granted coldly and cruelly by her supposed to be husband, and trapped, mocked and humiliated non stop by Natalie. This was so cruel, both don't deserve Isabela' forgiveness I wish for a happy ending between Isabela and Harold, he has the right to be happy after the long wait....
Frankly, the story initially was going quite good and the pacing was just right. unfortunately after Ethan got the dream of his past life, the story has been going in circles. Ethan's spouting the same nonsense every time he sees Isabella, they both have same conversations over and over. The authors monologue too has been the same for almost 400 chapters. Irrespective of which character the writing the just a repetition of what someone had gone through in the past and what made a certain character feel the emotions. York got introduced in 800 chapters yet nothing significant happened till date. Isabella is soft with Harold and kind of disgusted with Ethan, yet it is not entirely clear with whom she might end up. If she stays single i am fine with it but the story is clearly about Isabella and Ethan so almost 1000 chapters without seeing any progress in their relationship is frustrating. Except for being blindly in love and few aggressive instances with Isabella, Ethan actually isnt a bad person so i am fine if he can win her back. Even though Harold is coming off as a good second lead, i am somehow unable to warm upto him. Even the bad people in the story are not really facing any real consequences. I hate Jackson for his hypocrisy. I hate Jordan and Natalie for their self-righteouness and selfishness. I also hate Deborah, except when she is handing it out to Natalie. I am almost on the verge of dropping this story....
Why are they acting like kids 🤣😭...
Ethan is actually not that bad if we take out his blind love for Natalie...
