When did Ethan ever have to go out for business dinners or fancy events?
She used to want to tag along, hoping she could meet some of those big names in the business world.
But now, after everything that happened between them, after he literally kicked her out, why was she still thinking about him at all?
“Isabella, you’re up so early. Why not sleep in?” Laura wandered into the kitchen, rubbing her eyes. “It rained last night, everything was so cool and comfy. If it weren’t for my alarm, I’d still be passed out.”
She paused, spotting Isabella at the stove, stirring a pot. “Hey, what if we add some of that seafood Mr. Mason brought over last night to the porridge?”
Isabella smiled. “Already on it. I’m making shrimp and crab porridge.”
She scooped out a handful of shrimp and grabbed a couple of crabs, ready to toss them in.
“I actually slept great too,” Isabella said. “But I’m always up this early for my run. My body’s just used to it.”
“After breakfast, want to swing by the studio?” Isabella asked. “I think we’re finally ready to start shooting our short drama. We just need to pick a lucky day to begin.”
“Yeah, let’s do it. You finish breakfast, I’ll go knock out four thousand words for my update.” Laura spun on her heel and hustled back to her room.
If she was on a roll, four thousand words would take her an hour. If she wasn’t, she might be staring at her screen all day.
About an hour later, the shrimp and crab porridge was done.
Isabella ladled the steaming porridge into two bowls. She loved taking food pics, so she snapped one and posted it to Twitter.
Her caption: Breakfast for two, fresh shrimp and crab porridge. Just tried it, and it’s delicious. Definitely tastes like real seafood.
Meanwhile, Ethan woke up feeling feverish again. He checked his temperature. Not as bad as yesterday, so, stubborn as always, he refused to take any medicine. Resting wasn’t on his agenda either. His plan was simple: eat breakfast, then head to the office.
Is Isabella home yet? Don’t keep fighting with her, okay? Give her a break.
Why should I be the one to give in? Ethan grumbled to himself.
He started to type a reply, then deleted it and just sent a simple “Okay” emoji.
Natalie didn’t say anything else.
Ethan scrolled through Twitter, not really looking for anything. Natalie’s post popped up first, two pretty photos of her garden. The caption said, Spring rain has arrived, and the yard is all green and full of life. He liked the post without thinking.
Scrolling down, he saw Isabella’s breakfast photo next.
Last night, after temporarily blocking Ethan’s number, Isabella had gone shopping and spent a decent chunk of his money. When she got back to Laura’s, she unblocked his number and the others.

The readers' comments on the novel: After I Stopped Loving Him (Isabella and Ethan)
Author, please get your characters names right. You always messing them up!...
I wish Harold will win Isabella's heart. I was so sad when Isabela was taken for granted coldly and cruelly by her supposed to be husband, and trapped, mocked and humiliated non stop by Natalie. This was so cruel, both don't deserve Isabela' forgiveness I wish for a happy ending between Isabela and Harold, he has the right to be happy after the long wait....
Frankly, the story initially was going quite good and the pacing was just right. unfortunately after Ethan got the dream of his past life, the story has been going in circles. Ethan's spouting the same nonsense every time he sees Isabella, they both have same conversations over and over. The authors monologue too has been the same for almost 400 chapters. Irrespective of which character the writing the just a repetition of what someone had gone through in the past and what made a certain character feel the emotions. York got introduced in 800 chapters yet nothing significant happened till date. Isabella is soft with Harold and kind of disgusted with Ethan, yet it is not entirely clear with whom she might end up. If she stays single i am fine with it but the story is clearly about Isabella and Ethan so almost 1000 chapters without seeing any progress in their relationship is frustrating. Except for being blindly in love and few aggressive instances with Isabella, Ethan actually isnt a bad person so i am fine if he can win her back. Even though Harold is coming off as a good second lead, i am somehow unable to warm upto him. Even the bad people in the story are not really facing any real consequences. I hate Jackson for his hypocrisy. I hate Jordan and Natalie for their self-righteouness and selfishness. I also hate Deborah, except when she is handing it out to Natalie. I am almost on the verge of dropping this story....
Why are they acting like kids 🤣😭...
Ethan is actually not that bad if we take out his blind love for Natalie...
