After I Stopped Loving Him (Isabella and Ethan) novel Chapter 1064

If those bastards wanted to blackmail her daughter, they definitely took pictures and videos.

The mere thought of her daughter being exposed and violated by that group of men made a suffocating wave of despair wash over Adelina. She wanted to slap some sense into her.

The girl had always been so clever. How had she completely lost her mind when it came to Isabella?

Was it because Ethan had given Isabella millions of dollars in the divorce settlement? Was her daughter that jealous?

Or was it because Ethan wanted to win Isabella back and had distanced himself from Natalie?

Jealousy truly drove people insane.

Adelina firmly believed it now. Her daughter was the perfect example.

Natalie remained silent, tacitly agreeing.

Adelina almost collapsed. She glared at her daughter, so furious she couldn't even form the words to curse at her.

Eventually, she just smacked her daughter's arm again.

"Mom," Natalie sobbed, blocking the blow. "I've already been used and blackmailed, and you're still hitting me."

"I'm hitting you because you're a foolish girl! Are you out of your mind? Why didn't you come to me? What were you thinking?"

Natalie cried, "If I told you, you would have yelled at me and stopped me."

"Of course I would have stopped you from ruining someone's life! Hiring men to kidnap Isabella is a crime. If the cops traced it back to you, you'd be sitting in a prison cell."

"You are the one at fault, yet you're still blaming everyone else! Did you even try to reflect on your own actions? Did Isabella force you to hire those thugs?"

"Did she ask you to hate her? She doesn't even want anything to do with you! You were the one harassing her, trashing her coffee shop, inciting her relatives to demand money from her, and stealing her media company's ideas."

"I know exactly what you did to her. Every single incident was your fault."

"How many times did I tell you? You had a perfect life. If you had just focused on your own happiness, people would have envied you. But you had to push it!"

"You had a winning hand, and you threw it all away. And now that you've hit rock bottom, you still can't admit that you're the one holding the shovel."

"Why on earth are you jealous of her? Are you jealous that she's divorced? You had so much more than her, yet you let jealousy drive you to commit these awful crimes. I'm going to die of a heart attack because of you."

Adelina was genuinely pushed to her absolute limit.
