Natalie swallowed the words she had been about to say. Her intense hatred for Isabella usually backfired; every time she tried to hurt the woman, she only ended up hurting herself. If she suggested framing Isabella right now, Jordan would probably snap at her. Isabella seemed to have some kind of guardian angel—everything always went smoothly for her, and Natalie's schemes rarely succeeded.
Besides, framing her wasn't practical. Even though Jackson had sent invitations to Isabella and Cynthia, and they had agreed to attend the wedding, they would likely just show their faces, drop off a gift, and leave. Cynthia and Jackson had been married for twenty years. No matter how indifferent Cynthia acted, attending her ex-husband's new wedding was bound to be awkward. Isabella had never liked the Lane family anyway; she was only going to support her mother. Pulling off a frame-up in such a short window would be nearly impossible.
More importantly, framing Isabella wouldn't yield the same results as framing Deborah. If Deborah was the one who allegedly pushed her and caused a miscarriage, the entire family would turn on the new bride. Even Jackson wouldn't be able to protect her. Ever since Jackson and Deborah signed their marriage papers, Natalie had been losing every battle against the woman. She needed one major event to turn the tide.
After a moment of deep thought, Jordan lowered his voice. "It could work. But you have to plan it perfectly. The coincidence needs to be flawless. People have to believe Deborah pushed you or tripped you. It can't look deliberate on your end."
"Everyone already knows we don't get along with her," Natalie said. "As long as the setup is seamless, she won't be able to talk her way out of it, no matter how hard she tries."
"Even if my dad wants to take her side, if she causes you to miscarry in front of a crowd, he'll have to deal with her," Jordan agreed. "He won't be able to protect her anymore, and your family definitely won't let it slide. The thing my dad cares about most is the future of the Lane Group. He'll know what choice to make."
Jordan glanced at her stomach, his lips pressing into a thin line. "I guess it does have some value after all."
Natalie thought for a moment and gave a soft hum of agreement.
A heavy silence fell over the couple.
After a long while, Natalie tentatively asked, "Jordan, what if... what if this baby is actually yours?"

The readers' comments on the novel: After I Stopped Loving Him (Isabella and Ethan)
I will be devastated if Isabella and Ethan will get back together. Please, writer, Isabella deserves Harold....
Author, please get your characters names right. You always messing them up!...
I wish Harold will win Isabella's heart. I was so sad when Isabela was taken for granted coldly and cruelly by her supposed to be husband, and trapped, mocked and humiliated non stop by Natalie. This was so cruel, both don't deserve Isabela' forgiveness I wish for a happy ending between Isabela and Harold, he has the right to be happy after the long wait....
Frankly, the story initially was going quite good and the pacing was just right. unfortunately after Ethan got the dream of his past life, the story has been going in circles. Ethan's spouting the same nonsense every time he sees Isabella, they both have same conversations over and over. The authors monologue too has been the same for almost 400 chapters. Irrespective of which character the writing the just a repetition of what someone had gone through in the past and what made a certain character feel the emotions. York got introduced in 800 chapters yet nothing significant happened till date. Isabella is soft with Harold and kind of disgusted with Ethan, yet it is not entirely clear with whom she might end up. If she stays single i am fine with it but the story is clearly about Isabella and Ethan so almost 1000 chapters without seeing any progress in their relationship is frustrating. Except for being blindly in love and few aggressive instances with Isabella, Ethan actually isnt a bad person so i am fine if he can win her back. Even though Harold is coming off as a good second lead, i am somehow unable to warm upto him. Even the bad people in the story are not really facing any real consequences. I hate Jackson for his hypocrisy. I hate Jordan and Natalie for their self-righteouness and selfishness. I also hate Deborah, except when she is handing it out to Natalie. I am almost on the verge of dropping this story....
Why are they acting like kids 🤣😭...
Ethan is actually not that bad if we take out his blind love for Natalie...
