Natalie could see it so clearly. She knew Ethan was favoring Isabella, and that twisted something inside her. The only plan she could think of was to use her pregnancy, to turn Ethan and Isabella against each other. But Isabella refused to come back, and that ruined everything.
“I swear, the real problem is Isabella,” Natalie complained, pacing the living room. “She’s just not the same since she married Ethan. Remember that time we tried to mess with the DNA test? I was so careless, I grabbed the wrong hair sample.”
Jordan shook his head. “And you ended up with Cynthia’s hair instead. It was obvious what the results would be. Sometimes it feels like fate is just messing with us.”
Nothing seemed to go their way. Every scheme, every little plot, ended in failure.
Jordan let out a slow sigh. “The paternity test is done. There’s no point in talking about it anymore. Our only hope now is if the George family steps up.”
He paused, a sly look crossing his face. “But you know, this baby... If it won’t work against Isabella, we could always use it against her mom. Cynthia’s living right here with us. It’d be easy to pin something on her.”
Jordan’s mind was already spinning with possibilities. “My dad is obsessed with this pregnancy. He thinks this kid is our family’s future. If Cynthia was blamed for a miscarriage... Dad would lose it.”
“Even if he doesn’t divorce her, their marriage will never be the same. He’ll definitely cut her out of his will,” Jordan finished, a cold satisfaction in his voice.
Natalie sighed, her shoulders slumping. “I guess that’s all we can do now.”
They agreed on their new plan. They’d blame Cynthia if anything happened to the baby. Together, they headed downstairs, only to find that Cynthia was nowhere in sight. When they asked the butler, he said Cynthia had gone out to take something to Jackson at his office.
Isabella shook her head, frustration clear on her face. “Natalie’s something else. Her own baby is in danger, and all she can think about is how to use it against someone. She’s not even worried about the child.”
She almost felt sorry for the baby, thinking maybe it just didn’t want someone like Natalie as a mom.
Cynthia sighed. “Jackson only gave me a bit of inheritance and they’re already losing their minds over it. They’re obsessed with the idea that he’ll give me more and they can’t stand it. It’s like I’m public enemy number one now.”
Isabella’s eyes sparkled with a new idea. “Mom, you should tell Jordan about Jackson’s affair and his secret kid. If they’re busy dealing with that drama, they won’t have time to bother you. It’s the perfect distraction. You’ll be way safer.”

The readers' comments on the novel: After I Stopped Loving Him (Isabella and Ethan)
I wish Harold will win Isabella's heart. I was so sad when Isabela was taken for granted coldly and cruelly by her supposed to be husband, and trapped, mocked and humiliated non stop by Natalie. This was so cruel, both don't deserve Isabela' forgiveness I wish for a happy ending between Isabela and Harold, he has the right to be happy after the long wait....
Frankly, the story initially was going quite good and the pacing was just right. unfortunately after Ethan got the dream of his past life, the story has been going in circles. Ethan's spouting the same nonsense every time he sees Isabella, they both have same conversations over and over. The authors monologue too has been the same for almost 400 chapters. Irrespective of which character the writing the just a repetition of what someone had gone through in the past and what made a certain character feel the emotions. York got introduced in 800 chapters yet nothing significant happened till date. Isabella is soft with Harold and kind of disgusted with Ethan, yet it is not entirely clear with whom she might end up. If she stays single i am fine with it but the story is clearly about Isabella and Ethan so almost 1000 chapters without seeing any progress in their relationship is frustrating. Except for being blindly in love and few aggressive instances with Isabella, Ethan actually isnt a bad person so i am fine if he can win her back. Even though Harold is coming off as a good second lead, i am somehow unable to warm upto him. Even the bad people in the story are not really facing any real consequences. I hate Jackson for his hypocrisy. I hate Jordan and Natalie for their self-righteouness and selfishness. I also hate Deborah, except when she is handing it out to Natalie. I am almost on the verge of dropping this story....
Why are they acting like kids 🤣😭...
Ethan is actually not that bad if we take out his blind love for Natalie...
