“I have no idea, Harold. Just tell me, who is it? Do you think she’ll be any use? Jackson seems so into Deborah.”
Jackson actually seemed to love Deborah. He treated her way better than he ever treated Isabella’s mother. Her mom spent twenty years married into the Lane family, but she couldn’t have kids and never got much spending money. Deborah, though, had a son with him. She got a million-dollar allowance every month, plus Jackson kept slipping her extra cash. She lived in a huge house, drove a fancy car worth millions, and her son went to the most expensive private school. She didn’t even have to deal with Jordan and Natalie making her life miserable.
If Jackson didn’t care about Deborah, he wouldn’t have protected her and Kevin for ten years. If his affair hadn’t come out, he probably would’ve kept it quiet forever, leaving Cynthia and Isabella stuck as Jordan and Natalie’s targets.
“It’s Deborah’s cousin, Mandy. She just graduated, early twenties, honestly in her prime.”
“Mandy’s not just young and pretty, she’s got a great figure—she’s even more attractive than Deborah was at her age. Her voice is sweet too, exactly the type Jackson likes. Jordan and Natalie had someone bring Mandy to Cabinda, told her to look for a job. When she couldn’t find one and ran out of money, they nudged her to ask Deborah for help and move in with her.”
Isabella just stared, completely shocked. Jordan and Natalie really had no shame, dragging a fresh grad into their mess.
“Mandy agreed to this?”
“Oh, she didn’t need much convincing. Once I found out, I had my people look into her. Turns out Mandy’s always been jealous of Deborah’s life. She wants all that luxury without putting in any work.”
“Today, Mandy went to The Lane Group and met Jackson. Deborah took her home after, and Jackson even came back for lunch.”
“Just wait. This is going to get interesting.”
She didn’t bother hiding her hatred for Natalie in front of Harold. He wasn’t Ethan—he’d never take Natalie’s side.
“I know you want to see them fall apart. I already have someone keeping an eye on things. If we get a chance to stir things up, we’ll do it.”
Isabella nodded quickly. “Of course. But it costs money to have people do this for us, right? How much do you need? I’ll pay you.”
He was watching Jordan and Natalie to help her get even. The least she could do was cover the cost.

The readers' comments on the novel: After I Stopped Loving Him (Isabella and Ethan)
Author, please get your characters names right. You always messing them up!...
I wish Harold will win Isabella's heart. I was so sad when Isabela was taken for granted coldly and cruelly by her supposed to be husband, and trapped, mocked and humiliated non stop by Natalie. This was so cruel, both don't deserve Isabela' forgiveness I wish for a happy ending between Isabela and Harold, he has the right to be happy after the long wait....
Frankly, the story initially was going quite good and the pacing was just right. unfortunately after Ethan got the dream of his past life, the story has been going in circles. Ethan's spouting the same nonsense every time he sees Isabella, they both have same conversations over and over. The authors monologue too has been the same for almost 400 chapters. Irrespective of which character the writing the just a repetition of what someone had gone through in the past and what made a certain character feel the emotions. York got introduced in 800 chapters yet nothing significant happened till date. Isabella is soft with Harold and kind of disgusted with Ethan, yet it is not entirely clear with whom she might end up. If she stays single i am fine with it but the story is clearly about Isabella and Ethan so almost 1000 chapters without seeing any progress in their relationship is frustrating. Except for being blindly in love and few aggressive instances with Isabella, Ethan actually isnt a bad person so i am fine if he can win her back. Even though Harold is coming off as a good second lead, i am somehow unable to warm upto him. Even the bad people in the story are not really facing any real consequences. I hate Jackson for his hypocrisy. I hate Jordan and Natalie for their self-righteouness and selfishness. I also hate Deborah, except when she is handing it out to Natalie. I am almost on the verge of dropping this story....
Why are they acting like kids 🤣😭...
Ethan is actually not that bad if we take out his blind love for Natalie...
