Dylan turned to his bodyguard and said, “Go find out why Linda and Isabella are here in Kaston.”
The bodyguard nodded respectfully and hurried off. Dylan lingered for a moment, staring after Linda as she disappeared down the hallway, before finally turning away.
Inside the presidential suite, Isabella glanced at Linda and said, “Linda, you really shouldn’t get too close to Dylan. He’s trouble.”
Linda gave a little laugh. “Trust me, I know. He’s a total flirt, swaps girlfriends like he changes outfits, and he’s ruthless when he wants to be. Don’t let that friendly smile fool you. He’s got the nicest mask, but underneath, he’s a real predator. Honestly, I’m not scared of him, but I think you should steer clear, Isabella. If you see him around, just avoid him. He tries to get with every woman he meets.”
Isabella smiled, shaking her head. “I’m not worried. He’s not into me.”
Linda looked at her, unconvinced. “He practically lit up when he saw you. That’s why I’m warning you. Keep your distance. He’s never serious with anyone.”
Isabella shrugged. “Sophia’s the one who’s obsessed with him. She keeps saying she wants to marry Dylan Main.”
Linda changed the subject. “Do you want some water or something else?”
“Could I have a coffee? I skipped my nap, and I’m starting to feel it.”
Isabella started to get up, but Linda waved her back down. “I’ll get it. You sit. I know you’ve been up late shooting lately. You’re more tired than I am. You said you wanted to learn the business, so I brought you along on this trip. Take a break.”
Isabella smiled gratefully. “Coffee will definitely help. Thanks, Linda, for letting me tag along.”
Linda rolled her eyes. “Don’t get all formal on me. We’re friends, remember?”
“We’ll rest for a bit, then check out the office. Might be a late night for us.” Linda had considered going straight to the company, but she’d worried Isabella would be too exhausted after that long drive.
She’d never expected the Gates family to play fair. Natalie had gotten arrested, fined, and her reputation had taken a hit over that drugging incident. The Gates family hated Isabella for it.
There was no going back, and Isabella wasn’t worried about making Natalie mad. What she really feared was repeating the mistakes of her past life and ending up dead because of Natalie again.
“Jesse really does love Laura,” Linda said quietly. “I told Laura not to give up on love just because my marriage sucked. Love can still be a good thing.” Her voice softened. “I just haven’t met the right guy myself.”
Linda smiled. “Sooner or later, Laura will come around and accept Jesse. But you…” She hesitated, then asked, “What do you think of Harold?”
Isabella’s eyes widened. “He’s great. Really, I’ve only ever seen his good side. If he has a dark side, I’ve never seen it.”
She gave Linda a playful look. “Wait, you’re not trying to set us up, are you? Harold is Barbara’s brother. I’ve always seen him as a big brother too.”

The readers' comments on the novel: After I Stopped Loving Him (Isabella and Ethan)
Author, please get your characters names right. You always messing them up!...
I wish Harold will win Isabella's heart. I was so sad when Isabela was taken for granted coldly and cruelly by her supposed to be husband, and trapped, mocked and humiliated non stop by Natalie. This was so cruel, both don't deserve Isabela' forgiveness I wish for a happy ending between Isabela and Harold, he has the right to be happy after the long wait....
Frankly, the story initially was going quite good and the pacing was just right. unfortunately after Ethan got the dream of his past life, the story has been going in circles. Ethan's spouting the same nonsense every time he sees Isabella, they both have same conversations over and over. The authors monologue too has been the same for almost 400 chapters. Irrespective of which character the writing the just a repetition of what someone had gone through in the past and what made a certain character feel the emotions. York got introduced in 800 chapters yet nothing significant happened till date. Isabella is soft with Harold and kind of disgusted with Ethan, yet it is not entirely clear with whom she might end up. If she stays single i am fine with it but the story is clearly about Isabella and Ethan so almost 1000 chapters without seeing any progress in their relationship is frustrating. Except for being blindly in love and few aggressive instances with Isabella, Ethan actually isnt a bad person so i am fine if he can win her back. Even though Harold is coming off as a good second lead, i am somehow unable to warm upto him. Even the bad people in the story are not really facing any real consequences. I hate Jackson for his hypocrisy. I hate Jordan and Natalie for their self-righteouness and selfishness. I also hate Deborah, except when she is handing it out to Natalie. I am almost on the verge of dropping this story....
Why are they acting like kids 🤣😭...
Ethan is actually not that bad if we take out his blind love for Natalie...
