“Everyone at home seems to love growing vegetables. Look at our backyard, we have a little garden, too. My grandma sometimes goes out there just to dig in the dirt for fun.”

“You can go online and see for yourself. Isabella’s already back at work. She confirmed that the villagers really did stand up for her, and she even released a recording of her relatives coming to her office and making demands.”

Laura’s eyes widened as Jesse continued. “After hearing that audio, everyone online is furious with her grandparents and those relatives. They’re saying they were so cruel back then, bullying a widow and a child, stealing the family’s property... and now, as soon as Isabella’s doing well, they have the audacity to ask for favors.”

Jesse shook his head. “After Isabella posted that recording, her relatives have been hiding out in some cheap hotel, too afraid to even step outside. They’re scared the angry netizens will find them and give them a piece of their mind.”

Laura couldn’t help but feel a rush of satisfaction.

“They got what they deserved. Those people are disgusting. When they couldn’t get anything from Isabella, they tried to ruin her online and twist the truth.”

Some people really thought they could just use the internet to control public opinion. But if you want to stir up a cyberbullying storm, you’d better be ready for the backlash when the truth comes out.

The George family was getting exactly what was coming to them.
