Chapter 115
“I want ten percent of the Capulet Group’s shares.” Louisa voiced her demand.
With those words, Dominic’s expression completely changed.
The wolf remained a wolf, unchanged.

Louisa maintained her radiant smile and continued, “This is my only condition for not divorcing George. Think about it–if you agree, I can reconcile with George immediately. In the future, even if he keeps a harem of mistresses, I won’t interfere.
“Even if he brings women home and wants to make love to them in front of me, I’ll happily prepare the bed. If his mistress is upset with him, I’ll be the one comforting her.”
She spoke with complete indifference, even seeming pleased with the arrangement.
Outside the door, George, who had just hurried back, heard her words. His heart felt as though a knife was twisting in it. How could she say such things? Had she truly stopped caring about him, stopped loving him?
In that moment, he nearly lost his balance. The cruelest punishment wasn’t that she wanted a divorce or to leave him–it was that she no longer cared about him at all.
Remembering the Louisa who once had eyes only for him, who loved him enough to sign a prenuptial agreement, who agreed to a secret marriage, who remained faithfully by his side despite his parents‘
coldness and criticism–the thought that he had lost her was like a blade to his heart.
Dominic was furious with Louisa. He slammed his hand on the table. “Louisa, you
percent of the Capulet Group–do you think you’re worth that much?”

Louisa shrugged nonchalantly. “So you’re refusing? No problem. Then please convince your son to divorce
“Oh, and didn’t you all insist on social equals in marriage? This is the perfect opportunity. Once I’m gone,
you can find your social equal. If he’s lost interest in Vivian, you can find someone new for him. Fresh
blood–he’d surely like that.”
“Louisa!” George stormed in from outside, radiating murderous fury.
His appearance alarmed the four bodyguards, who immediately rushed to position themselves in front of
Louisa.

vigilant, their eyes fixed on George.
George had no intention of harming Louisa, but he couldn’t accept what she had said.
His eyes bloodshot, he gripped her shoulders and shook her. “You don’t mean it. You don’t mean any of it,
do you?”
“I do!” Louisa’s response came without hesitation. “I mean everything of it.”
“I refuse!” George roared. “Divorce? Don’t even think about it! We made a vow! Only death will do us apart
-either yours or mine!”
Louisa was exasperated. George’s tactics seemed endless–first playing the scoundrel, then trying to deceive her, begging for forgiveness, and now resorting to intimidation?
She decided provoking this emotionally unstable, volatile man wouldn’t benefit her. Reasoning with him?
Even more useless.
After
moment of silence, she softened her tone. “George, calm down.”
“I can’t calm down!” His anger thundered through the room.
How could he be calm when she no longer loved him?
His bloodshot eyes fixed on her. “Tell me, are you so determined to divorce me b single again so you can be with Julian?”
want to be
Dominic, who had been listening silently, jolted at this name. Who? Julian?
He suddenly recalled the man from Vivian’s birthday party video–a man whose looks and bearing were every bit the equal of his son’s. Julian–William Tudor’s most promising heir.
No wonder Louisa was so determined to divorce his son. She wanted to marry into the Tudor family.
Dominic laughed coldly. “Louisa, give up that idea. The Tudor family is Silverlight City’s top elite. Just because we accepted you doesn’t mean the Tudor family would. Stop dreaming.”
Louisa was speechless. Had father and son both gone mad? Did they think a woman could only exist properly by relying on a man?

“Then explain why you left his house early this morning,” George demanded. “Can you deny you made love
to him?”
Louisa pulled up her pant leg. “Look at my injury. Julian is a powerful man who could have any woman he wants. Why would he choose me–a divorced woman who can barely move? What evidence do you have
that we had sex?”
George was speechless.
Louisa laughed coldly. “You have no evidence, but I have plenty of evidence of you and Vivian. Oh, and remember when your little mistress called me from your phone while you were having sex, just to taunt me? I recorded it all–quite the live show. Would you like to hear it?”
Her words struck like a fatal blow.
George’s face changed instantly. He grabbed her phone, explaining, “She staged that. It wasn’t real.”
Louisa raised an eyebrow. “Not real? You mean you gave her your phone so she could fake moaning for my benefit? The male groans were also fake? Do you think would believe such an insult to my intelligence- or do you think a judge would?”
Before George could respond, Dominic’s expression darkened. “You’re planning t you can win against the entire Capulet Group’s legal team?”
