Chapter 116
Louisa chuckled. “We’ll see.”
She played this confrontational move perfectly, refusing to back down.
Dominic stared at her as if she were some dangerous beast. Through gritted teeth, he said, “Fine! Divorce it is! George, divorce her immediately! Go complete the paperwork tomorrow!” 1
He had severely underestimated this woman. He’d offered her such generous terms, yet she remained unmoved? Clearly, she wouldn’t be satisfied until the Capulet family suffered
significant loss.
George remained silent. He too stared at Louisa intensely, as if he wanted to devour her whole. Finally, he said, “If going to court is what you want, let’s do it! Whatever tricks you’ve got–bring them on!”
Louisa fell silent. She was tired of this endless battle.
Dominic no longer concealed his true temperament and shouted angrily, “What court? Hasn’t the Capulet family been humiliated enough? She clearly has no feelings for you anymore. Just divorce cleanly and part ways!”
Louisa nodded in agreement. “Exactly. Why make this uglier than it needs to be? Once the divorce is finalized, I’ll destroy all the evidence immediately. We’ll never have to interact again.”
Unexpectedly, George remained unmoved. He pulled up a chair at the dining table and said casually, “Are
you two finished? If so, let’s eat.”
Silence filled the room. What meal could possibly be eaten after this?
Only George seemed to think today’s gathering was actually about dining.
She glanced at Dominic. “We’ve been married. I don’t want to make this any uglier. Please try to convince him again.”
With that, she signaled to her bodyguards to wheel her out.
They immediately understood.
George made no move to stop her.
Louisa thought the day’s ordeal was finally over. But just as she left the living room, three people rushed in

from the direction of the main entrance, looking flustered.
Louisa recognized them immediately–the Price family.
She assumed they had come to see the Capulets and didn’t intend to acknowledge them.
But as they approached, Lily suddenly knelt before her.
Louisa was surprised. Was this some kind of greeting?

“Ms. Forbes,” Lily pleaded, “I’m begging you, please spare our daughter. She can’t survive in prison any longer. We can give you anything you want, anything!”
The two Price men stood beside her with grim expressions but made no move to stop her.
Louisa finally understood–they had come to beg for Vivian’s release.
Her expression turned cold. “I have nothing to discuss with you. Talk to my lawyer.”
She had no interest in wasting words on them.
“Your lawyer can’t speak for you,” Lily insisted. “Ms. Forbes, only you can save our Vivian. Please spare her
”
Louisa smiled, interrupting. “Spare her? What makes you think I would spare someone who nearly destroyed me? I’ve already reported this to the police. If you want to beg, beg the judge. Don’t waste my
time!”
She signaled to her bodyguards, who began wheeling her away.
The Price family exchanged bewildered glances, clearly stunned by the situation.
Caden recovered fastest. He quickly grabbed her wheelchair. “Ms. Forbes, please wait.”
He took out a check from his bag and held it before her “Fifty million dollars for your letter of forgiveness. Is that acceptable?”
Seeing this, Louisa gave him a mocking look. “Mr. Price you’re late to the party. Mr. Dominic Capulet just offered me four billion dollars. Your fifty million? That’s insulting.”
Though she hadn’t quite figured out what this forgiveness letter was about, she had no intention of asking
them.

As Caden was about to speak, George emerged from the living room, having heard the commotion.

He immediately positioned himself in front of Louisa and shouted at Caden, “Who invited you here? Didn’t I tell you not to approach her? Are you deaf?”
Louisa was confused. What was happening?
Before she could react, George pushed her wheelchair toward the exit.
Her four bodyguards rushed to follow, but were intercepted by the Capulet family’s security, who blocked
their path.
A fight broke out between the two groups.
The Price family watched the chaos unfold, completely bewildered.
Meanwhile, Louisa found herself being rapidly wheeled away by George.
Breathless, her voice trembled, “George, what are you doing? Stop! Stop right now!”
George did stop–only to fling open a car door, lift her bodily from the wheelchair, and toss her into the passenger seat.
The impact left Louisa dazed. As she tried to escape, George had already slid into the driver’s seat and locked the doors.
He floored the accelerator and sped away.
Louisa was stunned by his actions. “George, what are you doing?”
George remained grimly silent, lips pressed tightly together as he drove recklessly forward.
His demeanor suggested he might be taking her to die together.
This terrified not only Louisa but also other drivers on the road, who scrambled to get out of his way.
Only one inconspicuous commercial vehicle continued to follow them.
Two minutes later, Julian received a message: [Mr. Tudor, Ms. Forbes has been abducted by her husband. I’m following them. Should I intercept his vehicle and rescue her?]
Julian frowned slightly. Abducted?

This Louisa truly never gave him a moment’s peace.
He knew George’s temperament well enough. In his current volatile state, who knew what he might do? Intercepting them abruptly could be dangerous.
So he replied simply: [Keep following them.]

In the car, Louisa saw the speedometer hit 93 mph and continue climbing. In the city center, at this speed? Had he completely lost his mind?
Louisą forced herself to stay calm. She had to–George was too unstable. If she panicked, they might both
end up dead.
Gripping the handle above the window tightly, she asked as gently as possible, “George, could you please
slow down?”
