Sadie explained, “Remember when I told you the Price family submitted documentation of Vivian’s mental illness to get her released? Someone intercepted it. We suspected it was Mr. Tudor, and I’ve confirmed it.
‘He applied pressure, and the Price family was completely stuck. Honestly, I don’t understand why they’re so indulgent with that venomous daughter of theirs.
“They haven’t given up trying to free Vivian. I heard Caden even approached George for help, but George refused.
“Then the Price family spent a fortune greasing the right palms and managed to meet with the judge handling the case–probably bribed him. The court eventually told them that Vivian could be released on bail if you provided a letter of understanding.
“So naturally, the Price family has been desperate to get your forgiveness. But all this happened a week ago, and they only managed to reach you yesterday. That’s clearly Mr. Tudor’s protection at work.”
Louisa was completely stunned. She hadn’t realized Julian was involved in the case.
“Why would Julian do this?” she wondered.
Flora couldn’t hold back. “Why else? Think about it–Vivian nearly destroyed you. How could Mr. Tudor ignore that? He’s seeking justice
for you.”
“That can’t be right. Why would he want to avenge me?” Louisa didn’t understand.
Sadie sighed. “What other reason could there be? We’ve all told you–Mr. Tudor is interested in you.”
Louisa shook her head vigorously. “I’d rather believe he just wanted me to work without distractions. Besides, he doesn’t like women, so how could he be interested in me?”
That last sentence brought the world to a standstill.
Sadie took a moment to process. “Did I hear wrong, or did you misspeak? Mr. Tudor is into men?”
Flora laughed in disbelief. “You kept saying yesterday that Mr. Tudor likes men. Who on earth told you that?‘
Louisa shrugged. “He said it himself.”
The world froze again.
Louisa didn’t want to dwell on this topic. “Never mind all that. I’m worried about the divorce now. If the Price family needs my letter of understanding, that makes things easier.

Chapter 124
:
“We could find a way to get them to approach George. Once George gets involved, I can use this letter to negotiate the divorce…”
She was talking to herself. Flora and Sadie listened to her muttering. Had Louisa lost her mind again?
Louisa suddenly turned to Sadie. “Sadie, help me leak information to the Price family. Tell them I’m only focused on the divorce and nothing else matters. They’ll definitely go to George, pushing him to divorce me in exchange for my letter of understanding.”
“Will that work?” Sadie and Flora asked simultaneously.
Louisa smiled coldly. “It might not have worked before, but now the Capulet Group and Price Group have business dealings. The Price family will make concessions to save their daughter. Even if George disagrees, Dominic is an old fox–he won’t pass up such a good
opportunity.”
After a moment, Sadie and Flora both exclaimed, “Brilliant!”
“However…” Louisa’s expression turned troubled.
“However what?” Flora and Sadie asked in unison.
Louisa pondered for a moment. “The Price family’s motivation to save their daughter is easy to understand. But Dominic… I can’t quite figure him out. I feel his reasons for not wanting George and me to divorce aren’t so simple.”
She’d had this feeling yesterday. At the Capulet Manor, she’d tested him several times, first by mentioning her significant contributions to
the Capulet Group.
Dominic’s reaction had been as she expected. She thought Dominic valued her exceptional business abilities and didn’t want to lose her as
free labor.
To test how far he would go to keep her, she demanded 10% of the Capulet Group’s shares. Dominic flatly refused.
Then she threatened to sue. Finally, Dominic compromised, but she clearly remembered the hesitation and reluctance on his face.
What exactly was he reluctant about? Louisa couldn’t be sure.
“So what should we do now?” Flora asked, puzzled.
Louisa shook her head. “Let’s not overthink this. Using the letter of understanding to exchange for divorce papers is a good deal anyway. Sadie, please proceed as I suggested.”
“Don’t be so formal. We’re friends.”
After ending the call, Sadie immediately got to work, acting efficiently. The results were exactly as Louisa had predicted.

Chapter 124
That morning, Owen took the newly drafted contract to meet with Dominic.
In the study of the Capulet Manor, Dominic looked at Owen’s cooperation terms with shock. “Owen, what does this mean?”
Owen said firmly, “I’m willing to give these profits to the Capulet Group with just one condition–let Louisa and George divorce.”
Dominic didn’t understand. “What does their divorce have to do with our cooperation?”

“I need to save Vivian, which requires Louisa’s letter of understanding. But Louisa will only provide it if George agrees to the divorce. So I hope you can persuade George to divorce her, considering these favorable terms.”
“Well…” Dominic didn’t immediately agree.
Though he had previously told Louisa he would consent to their divorce when she angered him, Owen’s current offer was indeed tempting.
But only he knew that with Louisa’s business talent and abilities, these profits weren’t nearly enough to trade for Louisa.
Being an old fox who had weathered many business battles, he didn’t reveal his true thoughts to Owen.
Sure enough, Owen noticed his hesitation. “Louisa is just a woman with no power, no influence, and no family background. Why hesitate to trade these profits for her as your daughter–in–law? Or do you want even more?”
By the end, Owen was clearly displeased.
Dominic smiled. “Owen, don’t misunderstand. This has nothing to do with your terms.”
Owen was taken aback. If it wasn’t about the new terms, then it was about Louisa? Louisa–wasn’t she just a woman without family or
background?
Suddenly, Louisa’s extraordinarily beautiful face appeared in his mind.
He was startled and looked at Dominic. “When I saw her last time, I thought she looked familiar–like someone I know. Could she be the daughter of Oliver Getty and Melinda Bowen?”
