Louisa’s heart fluttered at his words. Alright,‘ she managed to reply.
Ever since the “he doesn’t like men‘ revelation had been confirmed, something between them seemed to have shifted.
Her face felt hot and tingling. She wasn’t sure how to react anymore.
Flora nudged her arm. “What did Mr. Tudor say to make you blush like that?”
“God, the stench of romance is unbearable, Rachel teased.
At the hotel entrance, Noah had already brought the car around.
While waiting, Louisa briefly explained the situation to Flora and Rachel.
When Flora heard they’d found evidence that could put Vivian in prison for life, she could barely contain her excitement. “They really
found evidence? We can finally get rid of that bitch?”
“Sadie said so herself, so it must be true.” Louisa nodded.
Rachel looked confused. “Vivian? The one who had an affair with Louisa’s husband?”
“Exactly!”
Rachel instantly flared up. “That bitch! Let’s destroy her!”
Flora and Louisa exchanged glances–Rachel was even more aggressive than they were.
Meanwhile, Julian emerged from the elevator and walked toward them.
Wallace followed behind. “Where’s everyone rushing off to? Something fun happening? Count me in.”
Julian glanced at him. “You should stay.”
“Why?” Wallace asked.
“You have more important things to do,” Julian replied. “Find those old photos of you and Flora in your underwear looking like Dora and Diego, and send them to me.”
Flora and Wallace were stunned. How long ago was that? Why bring that up now?
Rachel looked confused. Did she miss something?

And Louisa, who had started all this, couldn’t believe he’d actually following through on that casead
Meeting Julian’s gaze, she blushed slightly.
But now wasn’t the time for such matters.
As the host of the event, Wallace couldn’t really leave–there were still scheduled activities. He needed to stay.
Flora and Rachel quickly slipped into the car, taking the back row.
Julian had brought an extended Rolls–Royce today, with plenty of seating
Julian and Louisa got in as well.
“Where is she?” he asked.
“Everbrook Plaza.” Louisa showed him the location on her phone.
Julian instructed Noah to drive. When he handed the phone back, he noticed something. “You two track each other’s locations?”
Louisa didn’t catch the peculiar tone in his voice. “Yes, so if we lose contact, we can immediately find each other?
Julian nodded. “Best friends with earth–shattering loyalty.”
Louisa was confused. His tone didn’t sound particularly complimentary.
Then he fixed her with an inscrutable gaze. “So you’re only worried about your best friend disappearing, not your boss?”
Louisa grew more confused.
‘I guess I’m not that important,” Julian added, his voice oddly wistful.
That sulky tone…
Louisa looked at him cautiously. “Would you like me to track your location too?”
“If it’s too much trouble, don’t bother,” Julian replied.
In the back seat, Flora and Rachel were silently observing, nearly bursting with suppressed laughter. Come on, Louisa, have some confidence–that’s exactly what he wants! And Julian, stop being stubborn and hand over your phone already!
Only Louisa, completely missing the subtext, took a deep breath and adopted a serious tone. “Yes, Mr. Tudor, please let me set up tracking with you. You’re too important to me.”

There. Happy now?
Julian’s smile deepened. That would be perfect. I can tell you mean that sincerely.”
The next moment, be held out his phone to her.
Louisa quietly accepted it and began setting up the app.
The two women in the back were practically vibrating with excitement. How much must Julian love Louisa?
Up front, Noah glanced at his boss in the rearview mirror with admiration: That’s how a real man does it–flexible, direct, and unafraid to go after what he wants. Who cares about dignity? Not important!”
After setting up mutual tracking, Louisa returned the phone.
Julian took it and patted her head, his expression saying: ‘Good girl.”
Louisa remained silent.
Everbrook Tower was an abandoned construction project in the suburbs, in the opposite direction from the hotel.
Louisa kept checking the tracking app. Since Sadie had hung up, the location hadn’t changed at all.
Her worry grew. “Can we go any faster?” she finally asked Noah.
Could they? Of course they could. His boss’s future girlfriend had requested it, so it was absolutely necessary.
Noah floored the accelerator, somehow condensing a fifty–minute trip into twenty–five.
Louisa and the others had no idea what was happening. Buildings and scenery flew by too fast to identify.
Finally, Noah executed a perfect drift to stop the car.
Flora and Rachel screamed in terror.
Louisa tumbled straight into Julian’s arms, her face pale.
Noah, looking quite pleased with himself, asked, “Fast enough for you?”
Julian smacked the hand of Li L

Julian grabbed a bottle of water, unscrewed the cap, and handed it to her. “Drink vone ***.
She took several large gulps, feeling better afterward.
The passengers in the back weren’t treated so well. Flora asked, ‘Mr. Tudor, is there water for
Julian coolly replied, “There’s some in the trunk. Help yourselves.”
Flora and Rachel exchanged looks. Clearly, they weren’t worthy of Julian’s tenderness.
Not wanting to waste time, Louisa asked Julian, “Can we go now? Every moment delayed meant more danger for Sadle
Julian nodded.
The group of five approached the abandoned building.
The structure was over twenty stories tall and visibly outdated. Looking up, many windows were broken, and the building was clearty
neglected.
Oddly enough, there was still a security guard.
Louisa’s tracking only showed Sadie was in the building, not which floor.
Noah approached the elderly guard and explained they were looking for someone and needed to check the security cameras.
The guard looked them up and down skeptically. These well–dressed people were looking for someone here?
He refused to let them pass. “Not just anyone can view the security footage. What exactly are you here for? I can’t let you in without a
proper explanation.”
Dedicated to his job, this one.
Seeing this, Noah decided not to waste words. He stretched his neck in front of the guard, showing off the colorful tattoos and solid muscle beneath his sleeveless denim vest.
He looked every bit like someone from the gang.
The guard took a step back in fear, then met Julian’s gaze.

wen’t trying to be intimidating, but his eyes were cold as ice when he looked at the guard.
The old man had never encountered someone of Julian’s caliber before. His legs nearly gave out as he weakly said, “Go ahead and look if you most. But be prepared we don’t get many visitors here, and some of the cameras are broken.”
