Chapter 222
Sadie stepped in, pulling Louisa behind her and glaring at George. “You bastard! Stay away from our Louisa. Go be with your shameless Vivian and stop harassing Louisa!”
George let her berate him without responding.
Louisa turned to leave.

Seeing this, George reluctantly followed after her.
From a distance, a car approached. It was moving slowly at first, cruising at a moderate speed.
As Louisa stepped into the crosswalk, the car suddenly accelerated, racing toward her.
Louisa quickly jumped back to avoid the vehicle.
George rushed forward, and her back collided with him.
Damn it. If he wanted to die, why drag her into it?
She would have evaded the car if he hadn’t suddenly blocked her escape route.
Just as the car was about to hit her, another vehicle sped up from behind, ramming into the first one and
forcing it to stop.
Louisa finally exhaled in relief.
Sadie ran up, her face pale with fear. “Louisa, are you okay? Are you hurt?”
“I’m fine, I’m fine,” Louisa reassured her.
Sadie turned to George, “You bastard! If you want to die, don’t take Louisa with you!”
George felt deeply wronged–he had seen Louisa in danger and was trying to protect her.
Louisa gave him only a look of disgust. If he would just stay far away from her, she’d be happy.
By now, the drivers from both cars had emerged.
It was Vivian and Noah. Vivian had been driving the car that nearly hit Louisa, and Noah had forced her to
stop.

Chapter 222
Vivian glared at Louisa with a toxic, crazed expression. You bitch! You’re divorced–why are you still chasing after him? Why don’t you just disappear?”
She lunged forward to attack.
Noah was faster, immediately restraining her.
George quickly moved in front of Louisa to shield her.
Little did he know, Louisa wanted nothing to do with his protection.
She only felt revulsion and wanted to keep her distance, immediately stepping away from behind him.
George shouted at Vivian, “What are you doing now? Haven’t I warned you not to harm her? You never
learn! You tried to run her over today?”
His eyes were bloodshot with rage, as if he wanted to strangle Vivian.
There was no trace of affection left in his gaze–only profound disgust. And something else, something
complex and dark.
Vivian cried, tears streaming down her face. “George, you’re my fiancé! Why are you still seeing her? I forbid you to see her! Did you hear me? I forbid it!”
“She came to write a statement of forgiveness for you. She’s already compromised this much–what more
do you want?”

“I want you never to see her again!” Vivian screamed. “I want to be the only one in your eyes! You can only love me! Anyone who comes near you deserves to die!”
“You’re completely insane!” George massaged his throbbing temples, feeling suffocated by her demonic
presence.
He stepped forward, fixing her with a terrifying stare. “Vivian, this is my final warning: don’t touch her. If she suffers even a single injury, I will never marry you! No matter how you threaten me. At worst, we’ll go
to hell together!”
His words frightened Vivian, making her step back.
Then she quickly switched to a pitiful demeanor, clinging to his arm and pleading, “I’ll listen to you. I won’t bother her anymore, I promise–just don’t see her again.

*I love you too much. I can’t control my temper. George don’t be angry. I’m carrying your child. You can’t
abandon us.”
George felt his head might explode. He replied coldly, Remember your words. This ends today. Neither of
us will disturb her again.”
“Yes, yes,” Vivian nodded vigorously. “I’ll do as you say. promise never to bother her again.”
She then turned to Louisa, who had been watching the spectacle, and offered a seemingly harmless smile, “Louisa, I’m sorry for my behavior. We won’t bother you anymore. Please don’t pursue George or try to
seduce him either.”
Louisa remained silent. How could such a toxic couple exist?
If only lightning would strike and rid the world of these two lunatics.

She was beyond words. Even insults seemed like a waste of breath.
“I wish you both well. Get married quickly and stay together forever–you’ll be doing humanity a favor. Just stay out of my sight. You’re nauseating.”
She took Sadie’s arm and prepared to leave.
She doubted she’d be able to eat after this encounter.
Unexpectedly, her comment enraged Vivian. “You’re insulting me? How dare you!”
She shrieked at the top of her lungs: “Who are you to insult me? I know you’re bitter that George chose me over you! You can’t accept it! But I told you before–George will always be mine! I won! And you? You have nothing left. Nothing!”
She broke into maniacal laughter, completely unhinged.

Louisa nodded with mock agreement. “Yes, yes, you’re absolutely right. I have nothing left. You win. He’s all yours. Now hurry home and lock him up before he escapes.”
Her dismissive, uncaring attitude made Vivian seethe with hatred and caused George profound distress
Then a light chuckle came from nearby. “How could she have nothing left?”
It was Julian, approaching from the direction of the police station.
