Chapter 264

Sadie kicked Lily hard. “You old witch, you still have the nerve to talk to us like you’re in charge? This isn’t about whether you’ll leave us
alone–it’s about whether we’ll let you live.”
Lily tried to speak again, but Noah, annoyed by her noise, stuffed a rag into her mouth. She writhed with a disgusted, pained expression
as she crawled toward Louisa, silently begging.
Louisa couldn’t help but laugh at the pathetic display, looking down at her with cold amusement. “Mrs. Price, are you serious right now? Your daughter just said she wanted to chop me up and feed me to dogs, and you expect me to save her?
“Instead of wasting time, why don’t you think about how many people your precious daughter has hurt? Whatever horrible death she gets, she’s earned it. Because she’s not even human–she’s a monster, a born devil.”

As she finished speaking, Louisa suddenly had an idea. She pulled Noah aside and whispered something to him, then patted his shoulder. “Alright, go.” No one else heard what she said.
Noah grinned after listening. “Does my boss know how evil you can be?” Still, he went to do as she asked.
Meanwhile, at the pond.
Becky and Vivian stood under the large tree at the center of the pond, beside a half–dug hole–the one the bodyguards had started earlier. Now both women held shovels, continuing to dig.
As the hole grew deeper, an eerie chill seemed to rise from within. Becky suddenly stopped digging.
Vivian smirked. “Weren’t you desperate to see him? Why’d you stop?”
Becky seemed not to hear her, mumbling instead: “Vivian, can you hear him? He’s talking. He says it’s cold… so cold down there…”
Vivian scoffed, “So you’re telling me ghost stories now?” Since Becky had stopped digging, Vivian stopped too. She tossed her shovel aside and plucked a plum from the tree, offering it to Becky. “Want one? The fruit from my orchard is incredibly sweet.”
Becky reached out to take it. But just as her fingers nearly touched the fruit, she suddenly grabbed Vivian’s wrist. In one fluid motion, her other hand whipped out the cleaver from her bag and swung it at Vivian.
“Are you insane?!” Vivian screamed.
“Yes, I am! Vivian, we both failed him. Let’s just go join him together!”
At the orchard entrance, George and Hazel had just arrived in time to witness this scene. Hazel let out a terrified scream. George, quick- thinking, covered his mother’s mouth and pulled her to a hidden spot.

Chapter 264
Inside the orchard, no one heard Hazel’s scream. Vivian’s terrified shrieks drowned out everything else. She dodged Becky’s blade while screaming, “Where is everyone? Where did everyone go? Someone help me!”
No one came to her aid. Louisa’s group was nearby, but Louisa just wanted to watch the show unfold, with no intention of helping.
Vivian desperately tried to break free from Becky, to escape the blade. But despite her thin frame, Becky’s grip on Vivian’s wrist was surprisingly strong. Vivian couldn’t escape. The knife slashed her arm. Then her shoulder. The intense pain made her scream in agony, desperately calling out: “Mom! Mom! Help me!”
“No one can save you now!” Becky’s smile was chilling as she thrust the knife forward again.
Vivian, terrified, raised her hand to block it. The blade pierced straight through her palm. Her even more agonized screams echoed
throughout the orchard.

Lily heard her daughter’s screams and fell to her knees before Louisa, repeatedly banging her head on the ground, begging Louisa to save Vivian. Louisa ignored her completely. No one else reacted either, letting the old woman continue until her forehead was bloody.
What, was her daughter precious while other people’s children deserved to die? After all, the daughter turned out this way largely because
of how her mother raised her.
Back in the orchard.
Vivian begged Becky like a madwoman, “Becky, please, I’m begging you, spare me! I’ll give you money–lots and lots of money, okay? Just
let me go…”
Where was her arrogance now? In the face of pain and death, what did dignity matter?
Seeing that her multiple stab wounds hadn’t killed Vivian, Becky’s eyes blazed with unprecedented murderous intent. “You’ve already ruined me, and Mark is dead. What good is your money to me now? I don’t want money! I don’t want money! Vivian, I want your life!
DIE!”
Becky gripped the knife and twisted it inside Vivian’s palm. The delicate flesh was brutally torn into a hole, blood gushing out and dripping onto the soil. Vivian was nearly dying from the pain.
Becky yanked the knife out and raised it high again, determined to die alongside Vivian. Vivian ran and begged: “Spare me, please, I’m begging you, spare me…” Her desperate, helpless tone mirrored exactly how Becky had once knelt before her, pleading years ago.
But now, Becky’s eyes were empty of emotion. She no longer felt pain or sadness. Her mind fixated on a single purpose: dragging Vivian to hell with her to atone to Mark together!
Covered in wounds, Vivian couldn’t escape Becky’s pursuit. She collapsed to the ground. Becky smiled coldly, raising the knife high. This strike would undoubtedly kill Vivian–there would be no chance of survival.
“Go to hell!”
