Chapter 336
No, no, she couldn’t keep looking.
Louisa hurriedly tried to dodge away.
But Julian placed his hand on her lower back and pulled her forward.
Her body pressed against his chest.
He gently touched her lips, his voice inexplicably husky. “Don’t leave tonight, okay?”
Louisa almost succumbed to that voice, but quickly pulled her rationality back to the center line. “No, I have to leave.”
She firmly refused.
She needed a good rest tonight, or her legs would go numb.
Julian said, “So you’re just going to abandon me alone? What if that little fool comes to climb through my windows?”
Louisa couldn’t help but laugh out loud.
This was the 17th floor–who could climb up here?
Julian gazed at her smile, his eyes gradually growing deeper.
Then he lifted her chin and finally captured those delicate red lips.
Louisa had originally intended to push him away, but somehow her arms wound around his neck instead.
As the kiss deepened, the temperature in the living room seemed to rise.
Julian pressed her down onto the sofa, his warm lips and tongue trailing downward to her neck, gently sucking on her skin.
Like a dessert after dinner, he savored her carefully.
Louisa began to lose her defenses, her breathing becoming intermittent–sometimes rapid, sometimes weak.
She tried to use her hands to block his lips. “Julian, you… don’t do this… let’s just chat…”
She tried to change the subject.
Julian asked, “Chat about what?”

Chapter 336
…
He continued kissing her as he spoke.
Louisa said, ‘George…”
‘Not discussing him.”
He interrupted her before she could finish.
At this moment, she wanted to discuss her ex–husband with him?
:
Actually, Louisa was just curious about why the Getty family had dumped their mentally disabled daughter on George.
But since Julian interrupted her, she stopped talking.
She was kissed into a daze, gradually losing her ability to think.
Just then, a phone suddenly started vibrating.
Louisa was immediately jolted awake by the vibration, pushing him away breathlessly. “Phone, your phone is ringing.”
Julian didn’t want to answer it, but Louisa wouldn’t let him continue kissing her, insisting he take the call.
He had no choice but to pull out his phone.
Louisa took this opportunity to escape, even closing the door behind her.
Julian looked at the closed door, his mood souring.
He had to answer the call. “Dad, what is it?”

William said, “Julian, Gareth called saying his daughter was supposed to stay with a friend in your complex tonight, but that person went out and hasn’t returned. The phone is off too, can’t reach him.
The child is still sitting in the lobby downstairs in your complex. She can’t be left alone, so could you take her home to look after her? He’ll come get her as soon as possible.”
Julian’s face instantly darkened with frost as he firmly refused. “It’s not convenient for me.”
William didn’t understand. “What’s inconvenient about it? It’s just watching over her for a bit, no trouble at all. The child is very well-
behaved.”
Well–behaved?
Julian sneered. “Have you ever seen good people from that family who don’t treat human lives as worthless? Fine, you tell Mr. Getty that

I’ll send someone to watch her. Tell Mr. Getty to go directly to building management to pick her up.‘
William knew his son’s temperament–when he said no, he meant it.
William didn’t dare force the issue, only trying to negotiate. “The child is right downstairs from you. Just bring her home first and calm
her emotions.”
“I’m busy and don’t have time to babysit other people’s children. You should sleep early. I’m hanging up.”
With that, Julian hung up directly.
That night, Louisa took a bath and lay in bed.
醇
As she was drifting off to sleep, she vaguely seemed to hear sounds of doors opening and closing outside, and footsteps. She didn’t think
much of it and fell into dreamland.
Not long after, her phone chimed once, but she didn’t hear it.
When she woke up the next day, she saw a message Julian had sent at eleven PM the night before.
Just one sentence: [Rest well. Come over for a meal when you wake up. I’ll make your favorites.]
Louisa’s heart warmed.
But then she realized she’d been getting too close to Julian lately.
What happened to just physical intimacy without emotional involvement, no feelings and no responsibility?
How had she unknowingly fallen so deep?
No, she couldn’t continue like this. She couldn’t let herself be seduced by Julian’s cooking.
She decisively put down her phone and quickly washed up and changed clothes.
Before seven o’clock, she left home to eat breakfast at the shop downstairs.
Since she had plenty of time, she leisurely enjoyed her breakfast.
If Julian called her, she already had her reasons ready for refusing to go over,
But halfway through her meal, someone suddenly sat down across from her.

From the corner of her eye, she saw it was a man in a black suit.
She instinctively thought it was Julian and had just called out “Mr. Tudor” when she looked up to see it was George.
Louisa immediately lost her appetite.
She threw her half–eaten sandwich onto the plate and faced George coldly. “Did I say you could sit here? Get lost!”
George was hurt by her attitude.

But then he started laughing again.
It was an extremely malicious laugh. “What’s wrong? In a bad mood? Is it because Julian didn’t spend the night with you? I might as well
tell you the reason he didn’t stay with you is that he went out to find that little fool.”
Louisa suddenly remembered that as she was drowsily falling asleep last night, she’d heard sounds of doors opening and closing and footsteps outside.
There were only two units on that floor–hers and Julian’s. If it wasn’t her, it could only have been Julian.
Seeing her expression, George continued, “Mr. Gareth Getty called Mr. William Tudor, asking Julian to take the little fool home and take
good care of her.”
Louisa said coldly, “If he’s taking care of her, so what? Julian isn’t like you–he doesn’t prey on crazy people and fools.”
George replied, “Are you really that confident in your charm?
No matter how many sweet words he gives you, how many promises he makes, that’s just for now. Think about how long you’ve known
each other?
We were very sweet at the beginning, too. Even though our marriage had problems, those problems only emerged after ten years. Are you
really so foolish as to believe he’ll always like you?
Of course, this is still just liking–it’s not even love yet.
He just finds you fresh and exciting, wants to play around with you.
I’m sure you’ve noticed that little fool really likes Julian. So what if she’s mentally disabled? The Tudor and Getty families are old friends. No matter how stupid Angelina is, she and Julian are still a perfect match.
And you? Forget about Julian not taking responsibility for you–even if he wanted to, his family would never agree to let you marry him.”
