In truth, Louisa had only guessed half correctly.

Teresa was indeed tattling, but not to Julian–to Adeline.

them?”

She had no intention of greeting those two.

But Lorelei and Angelina spotted Louisa.

The two groups got on the escalator one after the other.

Angelina recognized Louisa, too. Pouting, she pointed at Louisa and started cursing. “Bad woman.”

That single curse left both Lorelei and Teresa momentarily stunned.

Louisa replied, “But you already have George. Why don’t you go play

with George?”

Louisa said calmly, “I’m not bad.”

friendly.
