Chapter 413
Louisa wasn’t sure if the person was talking to her, but having heard
it, she had to look.
She turned her head and saw four girls standing in front of her.
The leader wore a white gown with a matching white feathered mask,
ethereal and elegant, giving off the air of a wealthy young lady.
A name immediately popped into Louisa’s mind: Abigail.
The last time they met, Abigail had the same clothing style and
hairstyle.
It had to be her.
Louisa smiled faintly and said politely, “Hello.”
Abigail didn’t smile back. With an air of arrogance, she spoke with
contempt, “I really didn’t expect that a woman of such lowly status as
you would be qualified to attend a party like this.”
Louisa froze for a moment, surprised by her rudeness.

Nearby, Rachel and Flora both heard and looked over simultaneously.
Who is this person?
Is she out of her mind?
Sadie let out a disdainful snort, her attitude seeming to say: What an
idiot.
Louisa didn’t get angry. She even smiled.
Her eyes sparkled behind her mask, particularly bright when she
smiled, “I didn’t expect that someone who looks so noble and refined
would have such bad breath. The moment you opened your mouth, it
practically knocked me over. Did you forget to use breath spray before
leaving home? I have some here–want to borrow it?”
Abigail’s neck flushed red with anger as she glared at Louisa. “You…
shameless!”
This weak insult made Rachel and the other two laugh in unison.
With that level of fighting power, she dares challenge Louisa?
Abigail wasn’t naturally aggressive. She simply looked down on
Louisa from the bottom of her heart because of her own privileged

background. She was even more indignant that she had actually lost
to such a woman.
The girls who came with Abigail immediately jumped to her defense,
launching a barrage at Louisa, “You stole someone else’s boyfriend
and you have the nerve to act righteous?”
“Look at yourself–what status do you have? Wanting to marry into a
wealthy family? Dream on!”
A third person was about to speak.
Suddenly, three glasses of red wine splashed toward the three of them
in unison.
The three let out a chorus of screams.
Louisa hadn’t expected this turn of events. She glanced at the three bodyguards beside her: Rachel, Flora, and Sadie.
When did they even grab the wine?
Rachel patted her chest apologetically, “I’m so sorry, so sorry! How could I be so careless? How did I manage to splash it on you ladies? It’s all my fault–I have a weak heart, can’t stand listening to such nonsense. When I get nervous, my hands shake. You really scared

me.”
Flora and Sadie couldn’t be bothered to speak, coldly eyeing the
women across from them.
What, do they think Louisa has no one to back her up?
The wine–soaked women were furious.
One with a more aggressive personality cursed at Rachel: “Don’t think
I can’t see that you did that on purpose…”
She strode forward, reaching to grab Rachel’s hair.
But before her hand could touch Rachel, Flora seized her wrist and
shoved her aside.
Flora crossed her arms, looking down at the woman who nearly fell, and sneered, “Miss, I suggest you calm down and act more refined.”
“Exactly!” Sadie didn’t make a move but leaned close to the woman’s ear. “If you try to get physical again, I’ll rip off your pasties and stuff
them in your mouth.”
The woman was frightened, staring at Flora in disbelief.

Where did this savage come from?
She wasn’t ready to back down. She wanted to tear their mouths
apart.
But she was also afraid her pasties would actually end up in her
mouth.
In the end, the wine–soaked women had no choice but to retreat to
the restroom to fix themselves up.
Abigail hadn’t expected things to turn out this way. Her expression
was extremely unpleasant.
Other guests noticed the commotion and gathered around, asking
what had happened.
Louisa remained calm and composed, smiling at Abigail, “Do you
want to continue?”
Her tone was exceptionally gentle.
She didn’t sound like someone in an argument at all.
But everyone here was sharp–they could tell at a glance that these
two were quarreling, and they watched with great interest.

Chapter 413
Not far away, Hazel sat on a sofa chatting with several wealthy ladies.
Ever since dealing with that lunatic Vivian, Hazel had been in an
excellent mood. Recently, she’d been busy finding the perfect wife for
George.
She’d heard that Xanthe’s ball included almost every socialite and
young lady in Silverlight City, which was why she wanted to come
take a look.
But one of the ladies was clearly intrigued by the situation near
Louisa and suggested, “It’s so lively over there. Should we go see
what’s happening?”
Hazel smiled. “Sure.”
Their group also headed toward Louisa.
Seeing more and more onlookers, with red wine staining her own
clothes, Abigail couldn’t stand it anymore and turned to run off.
As soon as she left, everyone’s attention focused on Louisa.
Louisa remained unhurried, smiling at the crowd before turning to
her three friends, “I’m going to the restroom.‘

“We’ll come with you,” the three said in unison.
Louisa said, “No need. You keep enjoying yourselves.”
Sadie nodded and didn’t follow.
Louisa left alone.
She needed to get some air and let the heated atmosphere in the
ballroom cool down.
Hazel and her group missed the drama and were somewhat
disappointed.
Only Hazel gazed thoughtfully at Louisa’s retreating figure…
Louisa left the ballroom and found a quiet, secluded spot in the
hallway, planning to return later.
She hadn’t expected anyone to be there,
The person was speaking in a low voice, as if plotting something.
“The person will arrive soon. She’s the most important guest tonight,
and the most valuable figure in Silverlight City. Mrs. Boleyn is
throwing this party specifically for her. Later, we must make sure she

chooses the gold mask. We absolutely have to take her down.”
“Don’t worry, mission will be accomplished.”
