After the Affair: Falling into a Billionaire’s Arms
Chapter 422
Everything that had happened tonight had completely confused Adeline.
After all, she was experiencing something like this for the first time.
So for the moment, she was rather disoriented.
Louisa had no time to worry about what they thought of her. She immediately instructed her friends to split up and search for any
possible escape routes.
This was just an ordinary guest room–bed, sofa, coffee table, bathroom, mini bar. The living facilities were quite complete.
As for escape routes…
Only the bedroom window led directly outside, bypassing the club’s main entrance.
Flora went over and threw the window open.
Louisa looked at Hazel and Adeline. “You two go first.
Hazel was efficient. Without a word, she climbed onto the windowsill and, following the exterior corridor, ran off without looking back.
She didn’t say a single word to Louisa the entire time.
Louisa knew–Hazel had recognized her.
Well, if she’d been recognized, so be it.
Louisa couldn’t be bothered to make a point of it.
Adeline was still in a dazed state, her hands and feet weak.

Louisa helped her climb up to the windowsill, not forgetting to instruct, “Once you get down from here, you’ll be safe. Don’t worry about anything else just run. Even if you get lost, it’s fine. Once you have a signal, call the police immediately. When you reach a safe place,
hide and contact your family.”
Okay, okay, I understand. I’ll remember. Louisa’s calm voice helped settle some of the panic in Adeline’s heart.
She finally managed to climb onto the windowsill.
Suffering from acrophobia, she trembled at the sight of the ten–plus–foot drop.
Louisa was exasperated. There’s a walkway. What are you afraid of? Hurry up and go, don’t waste more time.

Chapter 422
Alright, alright, I’m jumping. Adeline didn’t take offense. She took a deep breath, then turned back to ask Louisa, ‘What’s your name?”
Louisa said, ‘Stop talking and go already.”
Look what time it was–they needed to fight for every second to survive.
Adeline’s heart caught in her throat.
She’d wanted to ask Louisa’s name so she could thank her properly later.
This girl was level–headed in crisis–calm, courageous, and beautiful. Gentle when needed, but commanding presence when necessary.
She’d even been thinking of introducing her to her son….
But now wasn’t the time to delay. She went directly along the corridor and left.
Meanwhile, Noah had also broken through a window into the ballroom and was searching everywhere for people.
Seeing the chaotic scene, he grabbed a guest and asked about the host.
The frightened guest pointed at Xanthe, who was seeing people off.
Noah immediately ran toward Xanthe.
At that moment, someone dressed as a security guard also hurried to Xanthe’s side, lowering his voice, “Mrs. Boleyn, that woman suddenly
went into a room…”
Before he could finish, he let out a pained cry.
Noah grabbed him by the throat and lifted him up, asking fiercely, ‘The one in the green dress?”
At that moment, Julian had also arrived outside the private club’s main entrance.
He’d just parked his car.
Two cars following behind him also stopped.
Eight bodyguards got out of the two cars and followed Julian toward the club.
They immediately saw several elegantly dressed, masked women standing inside the glass doors at the club’s main entrance, apparently waiting for the doors to open so they could leave,
Julian commanded, “Go open the doors.”

Chapter 422
“Yes! Two bodyguards immediately stepped forward.
But just as they approached, the doors opened automatically.

The group of ladies inside had thought they could leave once they exited through the side doors, only to discover the main entrance was locked too. They were holding back their anger, about to lose their tempers.
Seeing two burly bodyguards, they swallowed the words on their lips.
In the end, they didn’t dare say a word and all left.
Julian walked forward with his eight bodyguards.
He first assigned two people to destroy the signal jammer while he took the rest to search for people inside the party.
At that moment, in a room on the second floor.
Hearing the sound of someone trying to break down the door, Louisa grabbed Flora. “Flora, you jump first.”
Flora didn’t hesitate or defer. She hitched up her dress and quickly climbed out.
She regularly practiced self–defense techniques and was the most agile.
Once outside, she helped Sadie and Rachel get out.
Louisa was the last one.
After all four successfully climbed out, they kicked off their heels and carefully ran toward the garden, bent over.
Once through the garden, they could go straight to the parking lot.
Then they could have Noah come rescue them.
But unexpectedly, Noah violently kicked open the door at that moment. Ladies, I’m here to rescue you…”
The empty room left Noah stunned.
Where was everyone?
He ran to the window and looked out, but couldn’t see any trace of Louisa
He circled the room again–no one.
